Newberry Animal Health Care Center - NAHCC

I adopted a dog a few months ago and wish I would have established with the Newberry vets right away. Unfortunately, our dog got sick really quickly this week and we rushed her over to the new Newberry emergency facility. They saw us right away and kept our dog overnight. Everyone there especially Dr. Angela loved on our dog as much as we did and made me feel very comfortable leaving her there overnight. The wonderful techs there got us in with the regular practice at NAHCC for the recommended follow-up a few days after discharge, since we did not have a primary vet yet and I was worried no one would get us in fast enough. The emergency visit and overnight stay were costly to be expected for emergency care but the follow-up visit at their office was so reasonably priced, even with X-rays. The techs were incredible and even clipped my little scared/nervous dog's nails when I requested it. Everywhere else has had a ton of trouble with nail clips on her, but they didn't have trouble at all. I am so happy I stumbled into this practice and will be bringing all of my other animals in for their annual visits. Thank you to all the staff - Kayla and I appreciate you

Had all 3 dogs teeth cleaned. And for Dr Neubaum had a bump removed from the top of his head with a speedy recovery. NAHCC does Amazing work. Everyone at NAHCC is so helpful with all our dogs.. especially Rooney with his diabetes. I'm still struggling giving him his insulin injections. When he gives me a hard time giving the injection they let me go directly to their office & help me to succeed in giving that shot. I can't thank them all enough.

Do not use the joke of what they call vets!!!! I will be filling a lawsuit!!!! My dog is bleeding out and did it look at my dog charged me 300$ and didn’t even look at my dog I drove and hr there and an hr back home to find out my dog is definitely not ok they got rude and loud with my wife and told her she not welcome back best believe you guys will be sued go elsewhere if your in an emergency and there place is dirty rooms definitely don’t get cleaned

I gave them a ONE STAR due to the fact they said they had written a credit for us $54.00 for unused wet & dry foot returned because our pet had to be put to sleep less than a week from their services. I will say the service was fairly good because we were able to talk to vet but the staff otherwise was not people oriented... Yes & no for recommendation...plus the fact they are closed more than you know & this is to be an Animal Emergency... We had to travel further but P.E.T.S. in Lancaster is much better all around, they say they'll call a certain time & that's the time you receive an updated call regarding your pet...

Dr. Dave is awesome! Unfortunately, we had to put our 13 yr old dog to sleep due to several complications. Dr. Dave was very kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Tyler was great also! They took the time to make some paw prints, which we will treasure and use to remember our dog. I would certainly recommend this place.

I want to thank the staff for their kindness and compassion shown to me when I brought Furby in. I knew in my heart that I would be making the difficult decision to let her go. Everyone was so kind as my kids and I spent her last moments with her. We were given all the time we wanted and I held her in my arms as she crossed the Rainbow bridge. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for everything. I would highly recommend this center to anyone.

Staff, without exception, are caring and go above and beyond to make sure my 3 dogs are well cared for. Dr Neubaum provide me with detailed information and are always attentive to my concerns. I never feel rushed through an appointment. Whether in person or on the phone, everyone I've dealt with has been exceptional. I have trusted my pets to this practice vets for over 6 years.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED . We got our first dog a year ago and they have been incredibly helpful for us navigating all of his care and needs. The vets and techs are so gentle with the dog, providing him great care every single time he needs a shot or a blood draw or treatment. They treat me and all the other owners with respect and thoughtfulness -- they always call and leave voicemails and send emails about test results and appointments. Super helpful in providing clarification about medication and conditions and development. Especially when he was a puppy, I had so many questions and they made me feel comfortable and supported and let me call as many times as I need to. Can't recommend them enough! They are always able to get us in for appointments even last minute and did a great job with his neuter operation.

This was my first time there. I brought my cat. For one she simply needed an updated shot. But the other part was more important to me. I needed to prepare my furbaby for a 8 hour trip. My furbaby was looked over by Dr. Turley. Dr. Turley went over everything with me, chatted with me, had a laugh about names etc. I don't remember the other ladies name but she had purple hair. She was very kind as well and attentive to my cat. No one was harsh with my furbaby or mean or even manhandled her in the process of the examination. She was cared for very well. The doctor and I talked about the medication being prescribed and what I needed to do and if it didn't work that she would do something else to help. Bottom line is, my cat was cared for, and they seem to be there for you and try other things if something doesn't work. I'm happy with the visit and everyone made it as stress free as possible for my baby. We thank you. I hope my review helps someone else who is considering this clinic for their furbaby family member.

After MONTH'S of research and asking other vet's, I have learned that THEY BRUTALLY KILLED MY CAT!!! They do whatever they wanted to do WITHOUT ASKING PERMISSION FIRST!!! AND MY KITTY SUFFERED TO DEATH IN MY ARMS OVER SOMETHING THAT THE LADY VET DID WRONG!!! Not to mention the TRAUMA THEY CAUSED ME AND MY OTHER HALF!!!! HE AND I ARE STILL EXPERIENCING FLASH BACKS FROM THAT HORRID DAY!!! They are NOT our go to ER vet... We didn't have a choice but to go here..... No. Never again. MY CAT SHOULD STILL BE HERE AND ALIVE!!!!! He had a problem with his heart, and it was effecting his lungs. All he needed was medicine!!! THAT'S IT!!! THIS LADY BRUTALLY KILLED MY KITTY CAT!! HE WASN'T EVEN 2 YEARS OLD!!! :' DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PETS TO THIS SLAUGHTER HOUSE!!!! Maybe some of the other vet's are genuine and good vet's, with a heart full of love for any and all animals, reptiles and birds... I won't take away from the vet's here who do have love for ALL OF GOD'S CREATURES!!! However the one we had when wewent?? No., I wouldn't trust that lady for NOTHIN!!! SHE IS RUDE!!! SHE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR BELOVED FUR FAMILY!!! SHE IS HORRIBLE!!
