I was told by Mrs. Cecelia Gramsky to call her to let her know how and if the medication was working and she said we would make adjustments if need be. I took the prescribed medication and it didn't work so I've made 3 call and left 3 different messages with her assistant and was assured twice that I would receive a call back from Mrs.Gramsky that day. On both occasions I never received a return phone call. I don't think they care too much about there patients pain or comfort.
The wait is ridiculously slow ... They are slower then McDonald's..Bowie health center is quicker then this place. they don't have any courtesy for any of their patients. If you were one of their patients you will win the Powerball quicker then they will help you and get you out of the office to do what you have to do... They are slowest doctors office that I have ever been in...
I have been with this practice for a while now. I have always been treated with dignity and respect. Cecelia and Shirley are both through and address any and all issues that have come up. I would highly recommend!!!!
The staff is friendly and very happy to help you with your pain management. They will also answer any questions you might have with your treatment. This is why I have been with them for several years.
Nurse Practitioner Frimpong listened to my concerns, did a thorough exam, & took her time evaluating my radiology report’s & condition. She is detail oriented & a pleasure to see! Thank you for being a great provider & treating my pain!
Was prescribed antibiotics today- I have a very bad sinus infection that came from a cold. I’ve had fevers that come and go. My pain management office has a policy that if you are presenting with respiratory symptoms, that you can’t come into the office. My prescription is due for a refill tomorrow, and they told me they may not fill it because I am not coming to my appointment tomorrow because of THEIR policy. The HHS does not recommend pain management providers to abruptly stop opioid medications as it can lead to severe side effects, which in some cases can be life-threatening. Considering that I have a rare neurological/autoimmune illness, the effects of withdrawal would be particularly dangerous for me. I’ve told them I can do a virtual, even sit in the parking lot, and all they told me is that it’s up to my doctor if she “wants” to refill it. When I met with my primary doctor for my infection today, she told me what they are doing is not right—especially because it’s their policy that I can’t come in since I’m sick. She told me to continue to advocate for myself. I also have a voicemail from my pain management office saying that if I have respiratory symptoms that I cannot come in automated message. I have also made record with my primary doctor of what happened in case my pain management office decides to do the wrong thing. If the doctor chooses not to fill it despite the fact that it’s due for a refill, that would be extremely negligent. Opioids are suppose to be tapered off, not stopped abruptly. In addition, they have treated me and my husband with extreme disrespect. Newbridge Spine & Pain Center has great doctors, but the way the front staff has treated me is completely uncalled for. I have always taken my medication responsibly and have attended all previous appointments. This is the first one I have been unable to attend due to illness. If they are having a bad day at the front desk, I am very sorry that they are…but that doesn’t give them the right to treat people badly. Be kind— you have NO idea what I or others are going through. P.S. Telling my husband that “you and your wife need to communicate cause you’ve called back to back” is uncalled for. I called ONCE after not knowing that he called. That’s it. Again, she has no idea what’s going on in our lives. If she did, I don’t think she’d be as mean. And if she would be, then she shouldn’t be working with people. There is no excuse for that. We have both been very nice. Control your anger. Lastly, I have an autism spectrum diagnosis. That’s why my husband helps me communicate. If that’s why you’re mistreating us, that’s an ADA violation. I will gladly provide proof of my diagnosis. This mistreatment has to end.
Because of their new procedures of only submitting pain prescriptions electronically on the day they are due, in my case Friday, I now have to go until at least Tuesday night without any meds!!! Very unhappy !!!
All Doctor's offices should strive to achieve the professionalism that the staff in this office exhibit. As soon as you enter the office you are greeted. In a few, very rare occasions , if your appointment is being delayed you are given an update. When the attendant takes you into your treatment area, they update your file, and record all vital signs. Any changes are noted on your chart. The doctor then comes in and does a follow up on any changes occurring since your previous visit. Ms. Gramsky is a valuable source for any and all medical issues. On occasion I've asked her questions regarding a loved one. She then recommends to me a course of action to take. I see three other Doctor's offices in the area and Newbridge is the very best.
Kudos to the office staff and the medical assistants--they were all very nice and pleasant to interact with! However my visits there were a complete waste of time. I went there for the intense pain I was experiencing in my right lower back and hip area. The nurses practioner I think her name was Teresa did not do an exam at all. She simply put her gloves on and looked at my back area that was hurting. She did not touch the area to do an exam she just look at my back and referred me to have the lumbar injections, which my insurance would not cover. They offered me no other solutions other than a mild pain reliever which did nothing to ease my suffering. Please take your business elsewhere!
Newbridge has helped me out so much over the past few years. I have only been to the Waldorf office. The staff is very efficient, courteous, and friendly. The office is always clean. They get their patients in and out in a timely manner. I see Karen and she is wonderful. Thank you Newbridge for all you have done and continue to do to help me with my chronic pain management.
