These guys delayed our construction process because they had a couple properties on our block and we’re pushing on us the idea of acquiring ours. We did not want to just loose our investment at face value what they offered us so we negotiated to trade some property or properties for the one we had on the same block as a bunch of other properties owned by the land Bank. After stringing us along for 6 to 8 months beginning on the day we were ready to break ground on the renovation to rehab the property and never did because of the land bank and making us come to the land bank monthly meeting just to present why we should be allowed to trade the property that the land bank wanted for two other properties that it already owned forced us to stake our case even though it was all Madeline Fletcher’s idea And even though we had already waited more than half a year for this deal mainly just to help the land bank they told us that they were not interested and finally told us that they were no longer interested in our property. I think Madeline and the other members of the land bank behaved very unprofessionally and definitely cost us money in the end.
Transformative institution, doing good.
