May 15, 2016 Beaufiufl 1/2 marathon and 5K course!!
Want to run one of the most scenic and flat courses in Newburyport? Choose to run the Newburyport Half Marathon this year. Starting and finishing near historic Downtown Newburyport After running through historic downtown, you’ll run through beautiful marshes of West Newbury, past farmland and then out through the historic High Street lined with mansions of Newburyport, and finish out on the historic railtrail! Trace your steps back to the finish line, and you’ll be greeted by cheering fans, family and the great sounds and energy at the finish line. It’s a race that can’t be missed!
Fuel Training Studio is the event organizer for this race. Directly after the run there will be a post race party with live music & food. Each participant over 21 will receive 2 beer tickets for the beer tent. There will be a cash prize for the 1st place male and female runner and non-cash prizes for the 1st place 5k.
