Newcomer Funeral Homes

I've attended several services at the SR 161 location. My mother and I also recently made her pre-arrangements at this same location. We were pleased with the facility and the staffing. We felt like we were treated with kindness and empathy. I would recommend this chapel to take care of your loved one.

I would not recommend anyone coming to this funeral home especially not single women of color, single disabled persons or any African American women and or persons that are not Christians or Christian narcissist people. I would not recommend anyone bringing their deceased disabled and or deceased elderly loved ones here either because your legal rights will be violated by this funeral home and it will ruin your last farewell in being with and honoring your loved ones. These people apprentice funeral director Lori White Sanders, assistant manager funeral director Motisola Bowman and their Caucasian male bosses that were and probably are still working at this funeral home that I had the ultimate displeasure to encounter are low class despicable divisive pretentious unethical fradulent dishonest corrupt trash. Perhaps if more Jewish people multi lineage people of color and Native American owned operated and managed funeral homes and cemeteries then my experience would have been better and my parent's service would have been handled professionally ethically and I would have been able to be apart the funeral and burial arrangements as well as others that I tried to inform that knew of worked with and was related to my mother. All these people care about is money and obtaining it in any fradulent deceptive way that they can. I do not know what happened to my mother's brain eyes blood just her internal organs. I despise you all for what you did to me for only trying to contribute to my mother's services and you all deserve universal karma the same or worse that you wrongfully did to me

The family was totally pleased with the services given and the kindness shown. We had preplanned our funerals in 2013 and were pleased that everything went as if we had planned it this week. Our service was totally at our Church, but Newcomer supported us as if it was at their facility. I've never seen more beautiful flowers and the florist was most helpful. Thank you.

Newcomers is an admirable and decent funeral home that has provided solemnly excellent service to the Malawian community! As one of the leaders in the Malawi community I have often been charged with the duty of planning funerals and seeking the best funeral home to handle such situations. I have come to Newcomers each time we have had unfortunate death in our community because of the type of services and care they provide. With at least, four deaths, I have dealt with Lori! She is awesome and on top of things. She is a great listener, expedient communicator, deeply caring, comforting and effective coordinator. Some of our deaths have required bodies being repatriated to Malawi. Lori is very knowledgeable of what to do in this area and great at facilitating the process to ensure that it’s quick as desired and expected. I highly recommend Newcomers funeral home to all prospective future clients. Lori is there to help you!

I just want to say thank you to Newcomer funeral home and thank you to Lori our funeral director. She was awesome and took care of our every need. I know I probably got on her nerves by calling so much but she was there every step of the way. She didn't get frustrated with me, kept a peaceful tone at all times and made sure my husband had the best funeral. Thank you for being part of this tough moment for us.

Lori the Director is really good. She is the right person working at the right job. She's a natural. It took me a while to write this review because when I think of the care and service provider here, it makes me very emotional. My family had to deal with a complicated situation and Lori was absolutely amazing. She made this process so much less painful. I will never be able to accurately articulate how much her care meant to us. Pastor Doug was also amazing. He sat down with our family and really took in what we said to make a beautiful eulogy. I am so grateful for the professionalism, love, and kindness shown to us here.

There are enough words to fully express our heartfelt gratitude for the sympathy, love and support you gave our family during this time of loss. So we just want to say THANK YOU LORI! You did a fantastic job and you can really tell she love's what she do.

During the worst time in my kids and my life, losing my wife has been traumatic in a way I couldn’t fully explain. As someone who always found answers and looked for solutions instead of focusing on the problems, I was completely lost, confused, and even hesitant. Then I found this place and Lori. She was more than amazing and the rest of the staff was great too. Lori made sure I didn’t worry, explained everything step with every detail perfectly. Worked on my time frame to where I never once felt rushed. She was like family member to us and the rest of my family. Service was exactly how I saw it in my head and she even checked up on us afterwards. I hope no one has to go through this pain anytime soon but if you do, I would definitely recommend this place and Lori!!

Eric was wonderful. He treated us like he really cared about us as a family. They always treated us with respect and compassion. Eric took care of the business part, but never made us feel like we were only dollar signs. Eric took his time and walked us through every phase of the process. I have not one bad thing to say Newcomer Funeral Homes.
