In July of 2021 I lost my beautiful wife of 35 1/2 years.  It was a devastating loss.  I can’t say enough about how Tonya Thaxton guided my children and I through the process of making arrangements.  She had such a comforting way about her. The service was wonderful and really paid tribute to who, and what, Terry was.  My family and I are forever grateful for Tonya taking the absolute worst event of our lives and, through her kindness, compassion, and encouragement, making it bearable.  Thank you, Tonya.

My family had the opportunity to meet with Pepper Jackson last year after my grandmother went to be with the lord! Pepper arranged for my grandmother to be picked up immediately, which eased some of my anxiety in the moment. She was awesome from start to finish. She thoroughly explained everything about the packages and also worked with our schedule and wishes. Newcomer is an amazing establishment and definitely a top choice for my family and possibly yours!

My Son passed away 8/10/2021 we had his service here and I couldn't have asked for a more caring staff than here. My son was 33 Matthew Pelletier. We miss him more than any words could ever express. The staff helped me keep my strength to get through this trying time of my life. Thank You.

I recently have lost 3 family members. My sister Sami Sites of 65 yrs old passed suddenly in her sleep this past Dec, my mother passed soon after we lost my mother Mary Jo Fielder in April, then I lost a precious grandaughter Laci "Bug" Marie Thomas due to a tragic car accident. At every funeral Newcomer was wonderful! I thank them for their kind compashinate help. They are wonderful!!!

When I went to preplanned my funeral I was somewhat concerned about the details of how my funeral would be handled. Since my children live in different States I explained to the lady that I really wasn't sure where I would pass away and if I passed away out of state how would they handle this and she was very very informative she was very relaxed. she gave me all of the details.   Thank you newcomer for making what would have been a difficult situation very relaxed and very normal

I cannot begin to thank Tara enough for all of her help with my husband's service. She went above and beyond to say the least. She built a connecetion with my children amd myself which meant the world to us.  Everyone here was so thoughtful and informative. They did a wonderful service for us. I would recommend them highly. Thank you for all that  you did for our family

They were so caring and patient with us. I am thankful they were there for me and my family through this tuff time

My brother passed 7-5-2021, he was not discovered until 7-8-2021. Newcomer did a good job with his facial appearance. We had a private viewing and he was cremated after wards. I asked if we could view him before the family came for the viewing, that was not allowed. I was not pleased with the Trayview casket we purchased, it appeared to be used. His shirt was not fully tucked in. The flowers that were sent was not in the Chapple with him, we had to ask after a family member said she sent flowers. The music was so low you could not hear it. This may sound small but it is major to a grieving family. I used Newcomer North when my uncle passed years ago and things were 100% better then, I don't know what happened here; but I was not pleased.

This place is horrible. Dealt with 2 times. One with my grandmother. It wasn’t even 10 minutes after they took her away that they were on the phone demanding payment from my family. Inconsiderate!! The second was with my mother. It was the next morningliterally less than 12 hrsand we were making arrangements. We weren’t 100% on everything and Linda said.. no problem.. just bring in the final tomorrow morning. We did, complete with photo for obituary.. etc. well Guess what, nothing was updated and it was not listed right nor how we wanted. Had my mother not passed so quickly, I definitely would have taken the time and found a better place that is more respectful and considerate of those that just suffered a terrible loss. Should have learned after the first time.

My dad was here in 2001, now my mom in 2021, they are fabulous to work with, very caring, answered all questions and was very in tune to our feelings. I gave them 5 stars, but they needed 10 stars. Thank you Newcomer!
