Beautiful place for an after dinner walk on main st Newmarket! Easily a go to spot for a walk anytime of day. The area is clean and most importantly safe. The area includes a beautiful water feature where children can cool off in the summer or skate on in the winter. My favourite part of this area is the farmers market on Saturdays.
A great place to walk around and enjoy. It is very next to the Newmarket's Mainstreet, which was part of the first settlement in the area. Several good restaurants, cafes, and bars are on Mainstreet.
love that they added a little free library here! great spot to browse while taking a stroll along the river.
This is such a nice park with a water feature during the day. It gets very busy on hot days, but is part of what makes Newmarket so special.

Been here a few times and it's a lovely place to walk. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance and some live entertainment near the water play area. Awesome bike trail that goes on for a few KMs too! Nice place to spend a day
Just some real nicely kept walking paths, connection to Fairy Lake and the trail system. Even a little splash pad in the summer for the kids, which doubles as an ice rink in winter. Great place for an afternoon stroll!
Very convenient spot adjacent to Main St. Beautiful winter light displays on the trees alongside the walkway as well. During summer, it's a great little area to get out of the sun with circular seating around a few trees.
Imagine walk beside the river and after that you will find yourself in hearth of Newmarket downtown with several good restaurants and bars also there is a great community which has a lot of fun programs such as music festivals and place for kids to play technically it is water playground
A beautiful place to go and enjoy a walk about. Especially with the main Street of Newmarket right there. It might not be a secluded forest, but you can have enjoyment in doing so. Check it out for yourself. Restaurants and amenities near by.
