Herb was hilarious and quite helpful in describing the products. He frequently made us laugh, thus he ought to be on television. Herb made choosing a burial site a soothing process. I'm grateful he helped me with everything because trying to prepare for a burial can be frustrating.
I rather give a zero. Poor up keep/maintenance of the grounds. Dead trees. Trees over growing headstones. Headstones coming up out the ground. Road needs paving. Sad my Great-Uncle is being laid here
Herb was very helpful with explaining the packages and he was very humorous !!! He had us laughing so many times, he really should be on tv. Herb made purchasing a burial plot a relaxing experience. It can be frustating trying to put things together for a burial and I am glad he helped me with everything. Thanks Herb-New Park Cemetary :
Too many restrictions for a plot YOU purchased. They removed items from my mother's plot last week and DID NOT inform me of removing the guide lights that resembles flowers from her plot. They allow the groundsmen to destroy plots and headstones that are PAID for and refuses to compensate for damages and theft. DO NOT bury your deceased loved ones with this RESTRICTIVE BUSINESS. You will not be able to memorialize their plots as loved ones would like. I was not told of the various restrictions other than THEY ONLY ACCEPT the flat headstones and nothing can be placed upright which is beyond restrictive for plots that are paid for !!Consider other cemetaries that will allow freedom of expression to memorialize loved ones with very few restrictions or influence family to purchace a small parcel of land to establish a family owned memorial site to ensure total security and freedom. I regret placing my mother's remains there and will be removing her in the near future from New Park Cemetary. I will not do business with them ever again! Mher decorations needs to be replaced IMMEDIATELY!!
In the past two years, this place has gone down, no respect for the dead. VERY unprofessional people, for a business that deals with grieving families. How could you be soooooo rude at a time like this? The assistance Manger, Mr.Herb....gives a bad name for people in many groups. There's no organization and act like it's the people, fault. Arrogant and ignorant best describes the business. Give the job to someone who cares and honor the time of grief, and not themselves...who's not important. He's gonna run into a person who's mind is not stable at a point of grieving, and give him what he deserves. THIS PLACE is joke, along with the people who run it.
Grandma, grandad, Dad & as of recently, mom is buried in this place. Great customer service and peaceful place to sit, visit & reminisce with memories of loved ones.
I’m giving 2 stars because there’s a lady that did what she could to help me and was nice but there is a lady in the office who is always rude and seems to have an attitude. I was told it would take 60 days to have a headstone placed and when I called today, someone told me it’s gonna take 8 MONTHS!!!!!!! I just want to be able to leave flowers around my dads gravesite/headstone when I come for a visit. I understand things may be taking longer than others but 8 months? You didn’t mention that when I paid my money
I've never had a problem with New Park until recently. We paid for our daughter headstone the end of March 2021. We were told it would take 6wks but would be after Mother's day. The headstone was not delivered & placed until 7/1/21. I go to see it & yes it's there but with the wrong size picture on it. How do you mistake a 2x3 smallest for a 4x5 largest??? I'm wondering how long will it take to get this corrected. Communication could have been better.
We used this cemetery numerous of times, and I can't say anything negative. The grounds are kept up at least when I go to visit ALL of my Family & Friends who are there. They have good customer service in the office as well. Thanks New Park Cemetery:
New Park Supposedly Buried my friends, Son in 2017 tell me why she received documents saying that her son has been cremated...Nobody authorized them to do that..All this time she thinking her son was buried just to find out New Park released his body to the funeral home now her son has been Cremated....after she purchases a Vault, Casket, and Tomb Stone..I wouldnt Bury my Dead Dog over there...If yall have family members thats Buried over therd you might wanna check on ur loved ones...#Lawsuite is otw
