Loved the lobster. It's just fresh and tasty. The beef was also great. It's just better to go in a big group to enjoy more varieties since the portion is probably too big to share with few people. There are many other dishes on the menu to try next time. Prepare to get off the car for valet once you drive into the lot. Parking: Valet parking only!
Went here with the family for a nice get together. Their signature house special seasoned lobster sure enough was awesomely delicious! However all the other dishes we got were so good! Deep fried tofu along with its sauce was my personal fave. Kids devoured the Mongolian beef as they loved balance of green onions and beef. The calamari was surprisingly so good too with that crispy batter but still soft tender squid meat. For this place it seems like you can't go wrong with any order! Will definitely come back to try more goodies. Staff were so helpful and accommodating as well.
Best lobster I've ever had! Food here is amazing and worth a trip from San Francisco! Black pepper beef is amazing, tender and juicy, green beans are phenomenal fresh and perfectly cooked. Basil clams were a huge surprise. I've never had clams cooked this way and tasted amazing. Their salt and pepper squid was definitely better than most can make it. Be sure to get your lobster with noodles! Parking: Valet only. It's free but gotta tip.
We ate here on a Sunday after 1:30pm. We were surprised to see that they had mandatory valet parking, but it is for tip only... So that wasn't so bad. The food was delicious, exactly how we expected it. I ate here once before, maybe 10 years ago. We ordered the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the Salt & Pepper Squid, Chicken w/Garlic Sauce, and Beef Chow Fun. The only issue, was that they forgot the Beef in the Chow Fun. We notified one of the waitstaff who took care of it immediately. The staff had a good laugh at the cooks and said that they've never made that kind of mistake before.
What happened to this restaurant?? First, they took a lot of dishes from their menu. Ok, that's understandable... but the food was horrible! We ordered salt and pepper crab and it didn't taste fresh, it was bland and dry. We also got squid with shrimp paste and it was super salty. Just because it's seasoned with shrimp paste, that doesn't mean, the meal would be really really salty, that you cannot taste the flavor of the squid anymore, not only that, the squid were chewy, meaning--- it was overcooked! The Yang chow fried rice taste awfully salty as well. We couldn’t eat the shrimp because of that. It didnt even taste like the authentic yang chow fried rice. Beef with onions and pepper--- meat was chewy.. The service was horrible, waiter came to serve the food and gone gone... Bottomline, this place is going down.. no longer the same as it used to be. Not coming back.
Good part: food taste good, service are excellent. The price maybe considered a slightly high but the portion is big. I would say this is a good place to have a party with 4 or 5 people or even more. Not so good: this is not a hole on the wall place, so I do not like their chopsticks, napkins and tea cups. They all look very cheap. And the bad: maybe we just came in when they are really busy, half of our ordered meals never showed up. Eventually is the server who advised us maybe just cancel the rest of them since it could be even a longer wait. Guess when a restaurant is as busy as they are, customers just are no longer important.
Excellent seafood. Excellent service, nice sitting. Serve fresh crab from the tank. Wine is inexpensive but good. Will come back to again and again
Nice clean place, lots of parking, staffs are nice, most seafood are good but the two beef dishes we tried aren’t up to par. Ordered the lobster noodles yesterday, felt like it’s quite sweet and too much butter… But that’s just me. Updated! Make sure your fried fish is not a re-heat when ordering. It happened to us…
The best of the best here and still going strong! The bomb lobster. The menu is in order. Easy to order and they help you. Order 1 item on each page. One lobster, one meat, one vegetable, one rice, and one noodle. Top 3 seafood joints I have ever tried!!
Have a large party of 8 or more? I’ll make it easy for you and tell you what to get: Lobster garlic noodles, shaken beef, salt and pepper pork, steamed fish, clams with spicy hot sauce, house special fried rice, and a couple of veggie dishes like sautéed pea sprouts or fried tofu. Valet provided, but good to tip $2-3. Food overall was phenomenal, just the type of comforting Asian food I was craving.
