Newton Parks and Recreation manages several parks around the city and includes over 300 acres of land around the city.
City parks include Agnes Patterson Memorial Park, Aurora Park, Maytag Park, Sunset Park, and Woodland Park.
Neighborhood parks include Callison Park, Denniston Knolls Park, Hillcrest Park.
Recreational areas include the Softball Complex, Westwood Golf Course, Newton Dog Park, Industrial Park and Union T-Ball Area and Thirty Acre Park.
