Wife and I frequent here for lunch, it's a nice ride on motorcycle. The place is very clean, has a restroom, I seen vending machines as well. Perfect spot for a family get together plenty of picnic tables some are covered, BBQ grills, swing set, hiking trails, little reenactment log cabins one of the nicer places to plan a family get together. Much more private than say Harris Hill.
Beautiful park, very clean, quite, and friendly people around!!!! Easy self check in and you can buy a nice amount of wood for $5. There are also hiking trails and some beautiful & historical overlooks.
Cute little park. The few campsites they have are not very private maybe the north loop but you can still have a nice and relaxing weekend. The lady ranger is very polite and does a fine job in keeping the park clean. Just make sure you have the right gear if you camp.
A small park full of history. Extremely beautiful views. Nice trails through the woody areas and walking areas as well.
Such a beautiful place for an event! The setting is gorgeous. Everything that was within their power was handled.by the staff. The grounds and buildings were well kept. We could have used some mosquito for though..

What a beautiful park! Came here to attend the 242nd Newtown Battle Reenactment - How much fun! A great historical site and state park ... beautiful views, camping/cabins, playground, picnic areas, trails, and so much more!
Quiet, beautiful battlefield. Outstanding views, rich history, never busy. Gorgeous, inexpensive event spaces and rustic cabins for those CCC architecture fans. Nice playground. Fascinating native American village to explore. Kid and pet friendly.
We camped here with our TT. Needed electricity and only 2 sites in a parking lot. Park is nice and clean well kept. Learned about revolutionary War history.
Nice park with volleyball ground, campground, kids play area, restrooms. They also have firewood @5$ or you can get it free at north site. On the camp reservation site it doesn’t show restrooms on north site but they do have restrooms on both campsites. I spent night in the park for camping but it was really horrible experience because of mosquitoes . Cant event stand/walk outside because of mosquitoes. Not recommend camping here with family.
