"Nightmare Realm is a haunted attraction known for its immersive atmosphere, living storylines, and creatures that horrify you at every turn. ‘Retribution’ is the main attraction with seasonal attractions also popping up throughout the year. The people of Cypress Hollow always thought Trista was different, they didn’t know how right they were. When an “accident” occurs and a portal begins to open, this town will find out what Trista’s Retribution truly means. A story filled with creatures that will terrify your dreams, Nightmare Realm is your New Halloween Tradition."

The storyline and actors are phenomenal. I have been through plenty of haunts and I can quickly tell the ones that are in it for the money and the ones that truly care about the show. I did not see one member of the cast going through the motions. You can tell they really enjoy what they do and love to make you squirm. Definitely worth the trip. I only wish I lived closer visiting from North Carolina to make it an annual trek.
One of the best haunted houses we've been to so far. Well worth the money for about an hour and a half of scares/activities. We'd definitely love to go again. The way they decorated made it feel so immersive and I was glad they put us into small groups of 4 instead of 6 or 8 like other places.
This was my 1st haunted event. There were some neat scenes and cool costumes. There were a few times I jumped, startled not afraid. It was fun. We had 730pm tickets. We were on our way home by 930. They have a super cook scene with lasers that "float" above a dark room. It was creepy and so cool. It was worth going to. We will likely go again. They have different things happening.
One of the funnest haunted attractions I've ever been to. Actors/actresses were well versed in their roles and knew just what to say/how to improvise when we talked back to them which is an amazing skill to have!! Parking at the Paw Paw high school and letting the school bus transport us to the actual haunted attraction was a unique twist and honestly immersed me a lot especially since the windows got foggy on the night we went and we could barely see where we were going. I think the only thing that would make the bus ride better is if there were a scare actor or two hiding at the back of the bus that come out after the rules are explained OR if that is considered too unsafe they come out to scare us off the bus once the bus has stopped at the Nightmare Realm location. I just think that adding a little more of a scare factor to the bus would make this attraction even more unique and stand out from the others! We ordered tickets online for 8pm and had practically no wait once we got there. Very happy with our experience and would love to come again next year!
The set design and costumes were great. loved the open area where you could walk around and hangout, buy drinks and use bathroom facilities. They had one corn hole game set up in there but we weren't sure if we could play, because you are NOT supposed to touch anything! The cast did great work and the story line was fun. It takes about 30 minutes to get through, which is way too short considering a group of 4 spent $100. But park your car far away from the buses unless you want staff coming and staring in your vehicle lol If you scare easy and are faint of heart, this is for you! This is great for young teens and kids. It could have been darker as it was pretty lit up everywhere and more jump scares, but they want you to pay $50/ea for that experience and, personally, it wouldn't be worth that, but they try to sell those to you on your ride out. There's also an entrance at one point where it looks like you should walk through in the maze area, but it's not and we got yelled at to get out ‍ thats not our fault. There's a million cameras everywhere and people taking pictures from behind walls which is a little weird to me.
Had a great time - the actors were absolutely phenomenal, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Tickets were $5 cheaper online than in person at the gate. Also Sid is cute
I’m visiting Michigan and heard good things about this haunt. I went through last night and Nightmare Realm has the greatest hits and more; dedicated actors, deep lore, detailed sets and props, mood and most importantly scares I Never. Saw. Coming. I look forward to visiting in the seasons to come and can’t recommend it enough!
This is one of the best haunts I have been to, and I have been to hallow nights at Disney! Awesome experience.
Very entertaining! I took my 13yr old son. This was his first jaunted house and he had a blast! Great jump scares! The actors did an amazing job and the interactions were great! My initial thought was that this was pricey but after going through it I changed my mind. Worth the money for sure! We'll be back next year! Thanks for the great experience!
My husband and I went there yesterday. The bus ride the waiting, actually was annoying, but the actors did an amazing job keeping us entertained. The actual haunt was fantastic. I like going to haunted houses and this one is now one of my favorites. The story line was well created and flowed with the actual haunt. I was concerned when they lined us up inside the building that we were going to run on top of each other different groups but that NEVER happened. Nothing like catching up or being caught up by another group to ruin the fun. The actors were fantastic. They played their characters well and did a superb job at making me and my husband jump! I also screamed a lot! The actors interacted with us, not just moaning of yelling out a specific phrase. One actor asked if I had been good, and when I told them "no", I was placed in a separate walkway from my husband. I could see him the whole time, but it was really cool to experience that. I honestly loved this haunt and will be going back again. If you are on the fence, DO IT! It is worth it.
