It's no secret that I LOVE going on Disney vacations. I've been many times over the course of my life. I love the Disney experience, the way you feel when you walk thru those turnstyles and see the castle for the first time, getting to meet your favorite character, and watching those amazing fireworks at the end of the night! Those feelings never leave you. But those feelings, for me, became so much more when I saw that excitement thru the eyes of my three children! What an amazing experience! Travelling with children can be a struggle though, and I know that from first hand experience. The bags, the strollers, the meltdowns.....it's a lot. I also know what it's like to travel to Disney with someone who has special needs. My oldest daughter Kailey has cerebral palsy. She's non-verbal and non-mobile, so I have an extensive knowledge of the theme park and resort wheelchair accessibility as well as the accomodations Disney provides. Thru trial and error, we've found what works for our family and I love passing on all of our tips to make your vacation that much easier!
