"In 2014, the Nile Theatre celebrated “75 Years of Movie Magic” in downtown Mitchell.The Nile first opened its doors on Nov. 21, 1939, in downtown Mitchell. The featured movie was “Under-Pup,” starring Gloria Jean and comedian Robert Cummings.The theater is family-owned and operated by Ward and Sara Krichau of Scottsbluff, Nebraska."

Cute little movie theater with lots of fun memorabilia on the walls. The seats were very comfortable...not recliner comfortable, but at least the arm rest between the seats lifted up for more room. Sound system was awesome and so was the curved screen. Only down fall was that they only take cash or checks and the Popcorn was stale.

Love this theater.  Prices are decent and the seats aren't uncomfortable.

Wonderful place! The employees  service is vantastic. The theaters is that of antiques pictures and news clips of 1939. Pictures of late people from the community. Awesome sound system for the movie! And the best popcorn have ever had.

The best small town theater! Newly renovated with comfy seats! Popcorn is great and the ticket prices are amazing! Always go here when I can!

Great theater good prices good seats good movies not to loud not to quit awsome staff

Great pricing for tickets and snacks, it's cash only though. The seating was comfortable and spacious. There is a balcony that costs a dollar extra. Will be going back when they are playing a movie we want to see.
