I recently visited a this office, and I had a mixed experience. The front staff left much to be desired in terms of friendliness. Their customer service could definitely be improved to make EVERYONE feel more welcome.  On the positive side, the dermatologist was friendly and incredibly informative during my appointment. However, there was a slight sense of impatience, which made me feel a bit rushed.  The shining star of the office was the medical assistant. She was the friendliest person I encountered during my visit. Her warm demeanor and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my overall experience.  One notable downside to this office was the parking situation. As is often the case in LA, parking was prohibitively expensive, and to make matters worse, they did not offer any validation or discounts.  In conclusion, while the dermatologist was knowledgeable, the overall experience was marred by the front staff's lack of friendliness, impatience, and the costly parking situation. The shining light was the exceptionally friendly medical assistant who made the visit more pleasant.

I am genuinely shocked by the 5 star reviews? Dr. Patel is probably one of the least empathetic, most emotionless,  condescending, and cold dermatologists I’ve ever been to - and I’ve been going to them since I was a baby. Also she discusses how “inefficient” she thinks her nurses are in front of patients in the front sign in area, even though the nurses are the only positive experience of going to the office. She lacks any emotion or bedside manner. I would not recommend her to anyone unless you have a problem you need a quick fix for and do not have to return

Good and  fairly quick visit. Didn’t have to wait too long. Dr Patel was knowledgeable and thorough. I didn’t feel rushed. She answered all my questions. Going back in 3 months for laser and another skin check. Happy about my visit. I recommend.

Dr. Nina Patel is professional and courteous. The desk personnel and the nurses and assistants are also friendly. They offer a wide range of services and products, so I find that she is now my go-to Doc for so many issues. Whether my appointment is for a cosmetic service or a medical one, I always feel that I am getting the necessary attention.

Everyone was so helpful and joyful and at service.  Dr Patel is truly a professional and I had complete confidence— my first time there. She has a very direct and personal rebique and I was happy to be referred to her.

Advanced Dermatology with Dr Patel is fantastic. They are efficient, on time, friendly and care about their patients. Dr Patel is amazing  answering questions and taking time with me to make sure I understand what my choices are with skin cancer. The staff that supports her definitely cares about her patients and is reflected in everything they do.

First time I haven’t felt rushed by a dermatologist! Dr. Patel goes above and beyond to make her patients feel seen and heard. I look forward to developing a long-term relationship with her team.

My primary Dr Banafsheh recommended Dr. Patel as one of the great dermatologists around this area. I had my first visit with Dr. Patel and her great assistant. I really felt comfortable and at ease to talk about my skin issues.

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Patel. She was friendly, professional, prompt and had some good advice for me. The service is top-notch. Nick assisted and he was excellent too.

I have been going to Dr. Patel for years.  Am always treated well, the staff is very efficient.  I have never had to wait long to be seen.  Dr. Patel is very nice and polite, and always listens when I talk to her.  Always a good experience.
