Proud to be part of such a great movement ! It takes a village to raise a child my grandmother used to say well it takes a community to to build the village for the child to be safe ! We all are in our own way leaders and organizers and NM cafe is a way for us to be just that faith in action ! We are warriors for our community bi partisan and welcoming to all . I look forward to seeing more of us United in love and light for our community to do better for us and our future . Enough with division and hate . We need to start leading with love respect for all mankind May peace be with you #loveislove #nmcafe #communitycomesfirst #Godblessall #socialjustuice Make the call today ask to become a community leader we have wonderful training coming soon in June
Super weird having NM Comunidades en Accion y de Fe knock on my door at 1745 while I live on the edge of town when I'm on a DND call and knock list for the state/nation asking me what matters conern me I suppose in nm? Maybe in cruces? It wasnt mentioned the most and all three items I stated were not listed?? Even going as far him suggesting what I need to be concerned about?!?! Am I considered about Inflation? Yes, but largely no. Crash coarse in economics would explain why. Am I concerned about water? Yes, but largely no because I live in the desert and water is not a thing. The state is careless about and with it. I know this. And yet I still live here. Am I concerned for mental health? Absolutely. But not in the way the vast majority of people are "concerned". I answered; - sustainability - using NM resources appropriately and supporting smaller organizations/companies instead of favoring large, out of state/country, or faith based, organizations that prevent the state from maturing. - program outreach - providing more affordable/ free programs for people of all ages ranging from business, to play, to health. Something that's nearly extinc here. - diversity - racism in NM is rampant and suffocates any growth for diversity. Embracing other cultures, people, backgrounds can do nothing but improve relationships with locals. Unless that diversity is catered to one demographic, then it's OK. He asked if I was Hispanic nothing else. I said, "no, I'm German." Got weirded out when he said, "I know." What do you mean 'I know' ? Because I said, "ya ya"? Thanks for profiling me for... whatever reason. Also, ya ya is something I've heard from my Swedish/Norwegian friends, but I guess we're all the same. ‍ I genuinely despise surveys as they cater to one idea, to one agenda and refuse to see the bigger picture. Which is what this survey was about; Vague, drop-down menu of what they think I should be concerned about instead of listening to people. The whole verbal interaction was less than 5 minutes. What am I concerned about? This interaction and how little it will do for anyone. Complete waste of my time, his time, and your time reading about it.
