This page represents the Northwestern Michigan College Ceramics Area. This area is a comprehensive Studio offering Ceramics I and II courses.
The NMC ceramics studio serves approximately 60 students per semester, offering three courses in Ceramics I, one course in Ceramics II and one course titled Pottery Techniques, which is offered by the Extended Education Department. The NMC Ceramics studio is a comprehensive facility with 12 electric pottery wheels, 2 slab rollers, 5, 12 cubic foot electric kilns, and one 120 cubic foot gas reduction kiln. All clay and glazes are produced in the studio and the cost for these are included in the lab fees.
