No Frills

I went with my mom here a few times in the past and I thought it wasn’t that bad of a grocery store until after what I have experienced today … we went there yesterday to get some groceries and we both got some apples .. I decided to have one apple as a snack tonight which they looked completely fine on the outside and even when eating it , it looked all good until you get to the core … SO MUCH MOLD .. I just about puked I was so disgusted ! A couple of friends told me this has been an issue for them as well .. I tried calling them because I live in Barrie to let them know the issue but you can’t even get thru to call the store .. its an automated system that gives you the option for customer service and when you hit that option , the automated system said there is high volumes at this time so you have to visit your local store .. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I know I won’t be shopping here ever again ..

I would suggest enrolling your cashiers into some customer service programs, especially the older women because their attitude towards customers is horrendous. I came in July 21, 2023 and went through the express as I only had two items. There was an older gentleman in front of me who hadn't even collected his things before the cashier started ringing in my items. She never said hello or acknowledged me. I then asked if you guys price-matched with Giant Tiger and the cashier immediately scolded me saying "If you want to price match, you need to let us know before we ring it in." Maybe if you said hello and acknowledged me before ringing in my items before even giving me the chance to speak, then that wouldn't be an issue. I showed her the ad, trying to zoom out so she could see the date period and the price of the ad and she immediately started scolding me again in the most condescending tone because she needed it zoomed in. She was more pleasant with a customer and their child in a completely different till. I was extremely put off by the whole experience and will never be shopping here again. Self-checkouts would more pleasant than the staff are at this establishment.

We came from Nova Scotia was shopping for a couple things while in town. The aisles are a well organized but going to the checkout was a little confusing as people were trying to go down aisles by the cash. It seemed a little unorganized not enough room to get by.

After being overcharged by $30 on my groceries, the owner Justin had the nerve to embarrass me in front of several customers. Please, check your bill before leaving this store. They have always overcharged me and I refuse to shop in a store full of rudeness and incompetence.

Store is well laid out! Clean. The produce section isvery well laid out and the display of fresh vegetables and fruit are amazing!

I thoroughly enjoy shopping here. They have a great list of price matching stores, its stocked well, and hours are good. I never have issues price matching and the staff have gone above and beyond on a few occasions to help me out!

I have been coming to this location for a few years now and I have never had any issues at all. The staff have always been absolutely amazing. The produce and meat always seems fresh and they have what I need for the most part. I have been on days, probably just before shipments arrive, where things have not been available, but for the most part it's there when I need it. I will continue to visit this location for the bulk of what I need since they usually have it here. It is always clean and bright, which helps make for a pleasant shopping experience.

Absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service from both the grocery manager and store manager/owner. Returned to store for overcharge on bill and we were made to wait until THEY resolved THEIR issue. NO apology from either one, nothing, not even an acknowledgment they had an issue. The cashier that processed the refund however was pleasant, professional and did apologize.

Aisles are narrow. The cash registers have no room to line up when it's busy. The whole store is just too small really. No Frills used to be reasonably priced, but many items were more expensive than competitors. They use the "buy 2 for $X" to try and fool you. Some items were ok.

A lot of items are, buy 2 or more.
