Noce 77 Restaurant

I enjoyed my meal here. The service was good as well. My favorite dish was the tuna tartar with seaweed salad. My entree was veal parmigiana, which was good but not great. Pecan bread pudding for dessert was similarly good, but not great. All in all, a good meal and a good time.

Nice, romantic candlelit atmosphere. Food is really good, one meal is enough for 2, but you can take the rest to-go. They didnt rush us at all, even though we were the last ones, and enjoyed the wine we brought.

I do not have enough to say about this restaurant. The service, the food, and the music were top notch. The new management has done an amazing job compared to previous ownership. This is the first review I have ever written for a restaurant but I had to make an exception for this one. 10/10!

Good place for a dinner night.Fresh pastas were very well executed, especially the gnocci. Great food overall.Excellent bread to start. However, between time ordering and receiving appetizers took about 35 minutes. Food quality and excellence 8/10.

This guy Chung doesn't know what he's talking about this place is hands down the best in Montclair. The passion and the love that they put in cooking the food it's unbelievable. The waiters are very friendly and the food is delicious. There's been times that I tried to go on Saturday with my girlfriend and I couldn't because it was really busy which is a good thing if you put thought into it because people love them and I completely understand. I go to the restaurant often because it's amazing there's no other word that can describe it

Big shout out to Noce 77 Italian bistro on Walnut and to its manager Allen who kept a reservation open for my family of 4 although the major party that had reserved various tables cancelled on them last minute. Not only is their food delicious even for my Italian tough-customer taste, but their courtesy and professionalism goes above and beyond! Allen helped us celebrate our daughter's birthday even on a very treacherous night when we didn't feel like driving too far. We've dined here several times and the food has always been top quality and delicious! Montclair has definitely many good restaurants but go visit or re-visit! this one, you won't be disappointed.

Delicious food! We tried Noce 77 having never been there before. Had tried the restaurant that was in the same space about 3 years ago and it was not memorable enough to return. Made a reservation via open table and they called to confirm, all good. Then had a traffic issue with one in our party, called to ask if 15 minute delay would be an issue. They were gracious and understanding. Other than waiting a while longer for appetizers to arrive and asking twice for a diet coke they were crazy busy, the waiter, Shannon, was attentive and pleasant. All 4 in our party had various salads. They were ok, nothing special. However the entrees were fabulous! 3 of us had different pasta dishes, all were great, we practically licked the plates clean. Pasta cooked perfectly, just the right amount, sauce delicious, my shrimp was cooked perfectly. One in our party had the salmon and he said it was good, not great. I noticed it was a paltry bit of veggies, the sides perhaps underwhelming. Per my friend, the salmon was cooked ok. It's not a large place, tables in the step down area appeared tightly spaced and the place was packed the entire 2 hours we were there but the chatter volume was not an issue. As we all ate everything on our plates, no room for dessert so can't comment. We will have to return and maybe skip appetizers and leave room for tartufo...the couple next to us seemed to thoroughly enjoy it! Remember BYOB.

Have frequented here many times. The food quality is changing. Shrimp parm went from very good to being fried with some sauce poured on top. Perhaps it's my husband's poor tipping....we will never know. Not going back.

Quaint place with a homey feeling. Went on mother's day, so service was very slow -- but very pleasant and helpful staff. Food was average overall, all sauces were pretty bland and watery, including penne ala vodka. Veal piccata was just ok. I wanted to like the place more, but the food isn't nearly good enough to earn another star.

Imagine a place fulfilled with love and passion..well that sounds kind of magical. This is why this restaurant is by far one of the best ones I have ever been in my life. The Rojas family, Tricia, Allen and their offspring take care of each customer like one of their own family. The food andvthe service are superb and the environment invites you to return the next day and the following one.
