At NOLA Cacao Co., our philosophy is simple. We believe in an integration of quality, transparency, artistry, and compassion.
Formed by two incipient artists in 2015, Tiffany and Richard Dull desired something different and wanted to "raise the bar" on what is currently loved and devoured by so many around the world; chocolate.
We source the highest quality cacao DIRECTLY from smallholder farmers. Direct trade is a crucial stride for us as a company as it offers transparency in company and integrity in beans. It also positively impacts the communities by raising income levels in what is known as severely poverty stricken regions.
We are currently working with two Co-Ops.
Our Guatemalan Co-Op consist of approximately 200 local, indigenous Mayan farmers that have been growing cacao for generations. Introduced in the States in 2014.
Our Dominican Republic Co-Op represents 165 smallholder farmers working over 1050 hectares of organic certified land.
From citrus notes to nutty caramels, the flavor in these cacao beans provide an exciting experience for novices and connoisseurs alike.
