We are real New Orleanean's specializing in a few of New Orleans Favorites! We are mobile so we are able to work festivals, parties & other functions.
My husband and I are the owners of this establishment. We are born and raised New Orleanean's and wanted to bring a few of our favorite eats and treats to Texas. So we opened NOLA's Chill Country & Tasty Treats. We serve some of New Orleans' favorites: Snoballs, Stuffed Snoballs, and of course, Boiled Seafood!!!
"What's a snoball?" you ask. "Is it like a snow cone? The answer is, Yes & No.
A snoball is just that, SNOW. POWDER. So your flavor is going to stick to all the ice from top to bottom. It will not just sink to the bottom of your cup leaving you with just a little flavor on thick ice chips like a Snow Cone will. The difference is amazing!
We have 50 Flavors, all of which we can make Sugar Free! We also offer Stuffed Snoballs. "What's That?" you ask.....well, its a NOLA original and a favorite!!
It's whatever flavor snoball you want with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the center of it then more snoball on top with more syrup! DELICIOUS!!
We also have toppings for our snoballs. You have your choice of Evaporated Milk, Condensed Milk, Marshmallow Topping (homemade especially for snowballs), and Whipped Cream.
For those of you who just love those energy drinks or 5 hour energy shots. We have energy shots to go in the snowballs.Whatever flavor you want and we can add the energy boost to it.
Starting Memorial Day weekend we will be serving Boiled seafood (Crawfish w/corn, potatoes and sausage. ***on select weekends only*** However you can pre order and we will either boil for you or you can get 'em live!
As the seasons change and certain seafoods come in and go out of season, we will change what we will boil and sell as well. We will be selling boiled Crawfish, Louisiana Blue Crabs & Shrimp throughout the year. As this will change from time to time, we will let you know via Facebook or in person and also check for any changes on our Marqui sign at our place of business.
Our business is mobile so we may not always be at our spot on FM 306 because me may be working a Festival, Concerts or party. Check our Facebook page for daily updates and NOLA's Chill Country specials! We will also have updates on our Marquis sign at NOLA's Chill Country so be sure to check it periodically.
