I was introduced to Frances and her team by a good friend who knew I was going through a divorce, thankfully I followed their advice.  Frances took time to listen to what was going on, help determine the goals that were best for me and my children and then map out a plan of action.  Frances worked diligently to try and make mediation work, while protecting the goals we had set.  Through the process, Frances always first asked me about how the children and I were doing, she was very concerned about the toll the process was having on the family.  At the times things became most contentious, Frances was a knowledgeable and fierce advocate for me.  Frances was also able to assist with putting in place resources to assist after the divorce was finalized.  I would highly recommend Nolan Byers to anyone in need of Family Law services.

The first time I met Frances I was more afraid of my future than I could have ever imagined. My decision to file for a divorce meant I would be venturing into an area that was foreign to me. I began my journey with interviewing divorce attorney's. Today, I consider myself very fortunate to have found Frances. By the end of my first meeting with her I knew I had an expert in the area of Family Law on my side. She became more than my divorce attorney as she helped me navigate all of the areas of my life that were impacted by my divorce. She had a network of other professionals she was able to recommend to me for help as I started my life over. She was efficient, kind, available, and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated her patience and commitment to making sure that I understood each step in the journey to my new normal. She empowered me to take back my life and to look forward to what my future would hold. I have and will continue to recommend her as a top notch Family Law Attorney.

Working with Frances was the best decision.  Divorce is brutal and overwhelming, but Frances helped me to navigate the unknown and unpleasant territory reminding me what was most important and not getting lost on what didn’t matter.  She was able to push me to take ownership over myself and my new life, while advocating for me when I was being taken advantage of.  She is very smart and very good at what she does.  She had great creative suggestions for helping me to regain myself.  Frances had a catalogue of experts to draw from to help me restart my life.  Best part about it, she made me laugh on a regular basis, which was a great when you’re dealing with “all the stuff”.  Frances was a huge help, and I would recommend her!

Divorce is one of the hardest things you can go through. Having an attorney who not only understands the whirlwind of emotions that you are experiencing, but also knows how to fight for you is SO IMPORTANT. Frances communicates clearly about the process and what to expect. She is a realist and will shoot you straight. She truly has a heart for what is best for the kids. I found during my experience that Frances cared about how I was doing and I knew she was fighting for my best interest as well as my daughter's. There is no better feeling than to know your attorney GETS IT and is in the ring with you. I have referred many people to her and after their first meeting with her they are always blown away and so grateful to have landed in her office.

Nolan Byers represented me in a very difficult child custody case that went all the way through to trial.  Frances Nolan was my attorney in the matter, though Leigh Byers was also involved as we approached the trial.  It was a very long and emotionally taxing process and I cannot begin to imagine attempting it with anyone else.  They are both amazing and skillful attorneys and you will not find better representation anywhere.  However, their legal expertise are only a part of what sets them apart from other firms.  Frances Nolan worked with me to insure that my case was handled in a way that I could feel as good as possible when it was all said and done.  She was always honest with me and made sure I understood what my choices were at every step of the way.  She wasn't just my attorney, she was my advocate.
