Nona's Pizza

Pizza is awesome. And the Nona's bread is the absolute best of all the cheese breads I've had in the area. The dough and sauce is very consistent in flavor.Great value for the money. update 4/24/2018. unfortunately the place is now gone. Torn down.

Great pizza/cheese bread. Slices aren't the cheapest, but they're HUGE! Well worth the money. Been going here for years. Not a lot of dining space, but it's a nice local family-owned pizzeria it's not a chain. Also they sell homemade cannolis now!

Pretty good pizza. Certainly more tasty than a $5.00 large. Had a small round cheese and pepperoni for my first time there for $8.21 out the door. Good crust, good cheese. Sauce is a little bland, put some salt and franks on the last few slices I had to give it a little extra flavor. Not bad at all, but nothing groundbreaking either.

Best Pizza around, Forget about the price, 2 squares are perfect for me. Sauce in every bite, toppings plentiful, with beautifully placed Mozzarella Cheese. I wish there was more of these places around. I heard the Original Owner might take over again...Which means the best Original Reciepe will be made exactly the we used to eat these pizzas 40 years ago

Very good all meat pizza. The looks are unassuming but don't let that fool you. I like the consistent of the crust; not to thick and not to thin. A rich tomatoey sauce and plenty of toppings. Very good pizza and so addicting you could eat an entire pie in one sitting.

They used to make good pizza a few years ago. I just ordered a large square with 4 items. The dough was very soggy, under-cooked. The toppings were very sparse except for the pepperoni. I agree with Brian below that the sauce is bland. If you prefer sloppy wet, overpriced pizza then this is your place. As for me I'll continue frequent Little Italy's, Detroit Style Pizza, or Cloverleaf. Loui's in Hazel Park will always be #1 for special occasions.

Ordered a small pizza and Mozzarella stixs for delivery and was charged $21.05. They brought bread stixs and not the Mozzarella stixs. I told driver the order was wrong but he insisted it was right, Order was wrong as I said. Driver went back and got the right Mozzarella stixs after making 4 or 5 deliveries according to lady on phone but didn't bring back the money I was owed. The pizza was not good, the wait time for deliveries was too long, and not having my money returned will keep me from ordering from Nonas again.

Ordered a couple of pizzas and bread sticks for pick-up. The people in the store were very friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Great food, but the customer service is sometimes very nasty . There's a woman who normally answers the phone and she's quite rude which is such a shame because the other workers and the owner are very nice. I've been coming here since my HS years in grosse pointe . If the business doesn't get her off the phones they won't have a successful business much longer. Hold the sarcasm lady and just ring up the order.

This is some of the best pizza you will get for the price got 4 slices for 10.00 Awesome people to talk with love this place
