Nonno, was born in Naples Italy in 1929, as young man Nonno began his culinary carrier working on luxurious Italian Cruise Ships, eventually becoming a Chief Butcher. Nonno sailed the world for 18 years until his brothers Longshoreman in New York, convinced him to move to the United States. Nonno moved to Brooklyn N.Y. in 1961, and started his family, he worked in multiple pizzerias in New York City, New Jersey and Brooklyn, to support his growing family. in 1974 Nonno moved to Souther California and worked as Pizza Maker in San Gabriel for 30 years were, his local community affectionately nicknamed him "The Chief ".
Nonno left us in 2007 but his pizza making legacy lives on. we are proud to continue the family tradition of making everyone favorite food, "A' Pizz", however you like it, by the slice or the whole pie, with "sul' muzzarell" ( Cheese only), or "cca' Robb ncopp" ( with toppings).
Fun Facts: Nonno made Approximately 1.872,000 Student Specials, Over 1 Million Pie's, 650,000 sandwiches and various salads.
