The NOPD's Third District, located at 4600 Paris Avenue, is responsible for providing professional police services to residents of numerous neighborhoods in the Gentilly, Lakefront, and Pontchartrain Park areas of the city of New Orleans.
Under the direction of Commander Jeff Walls, the Third District coverage includes Lakeview, Gentilly and West End, encompassing Dillard University, Southern University of New Orleans, Delgado Community College, University of New Orleans and City Park.
