A diner done right. The menu is manageable two pages of everyone's favorite comfort foods ranging from omelettes to meatloaf and grilled chicken. Great desserts. Service is very friendly and kind. The diner is huge, the free parking lot even bigger, and there is no waiting time. We love this place.Food: 5/5
La Shawn was an awesome server. Attentive and proactive. The dinner was not good, below average even for a Norms. Not ever ordering ribs from them again. They were dry, not tender and semi cold.Food: 2/5
I do expect to be greeted or at least have a head nod if employees are busy with other customers. I stood waiting for a while but once I was seated the server did an awesome job. The shakes were great. The soup was amazing.Food: 4/5
Me and my partner waited over 20 minutes to be seated on a Sunday 11 am. We got seated and the 'shift leader' did not greet us. She brought us our drinks, two coffees, and our food never came despite waiting over 40 minutes. We seriously watched others eat their food while me and my partner waited. My partner said he felt discriminated and we simply walked out of this location. I'm not sure if this location's staff is LGBTQ friendly but I'm taking my business elsewhere.
GREAT and FRIENDLY PLACE!!!! The reason I go here is not only the tasty food but also how friendly workers are. They check you every now and then, making sure everything is fine. Simply amazing and kind place to be. You definitely need to try their jalapeño burger!!!! The spicy will get you with tasty and juicy patty!!!
Habanero Bacon Jalapeno Cheeseburger - Luckily I asked for the Habanero Mayonnaise on the side, it was very creamy but had extremely little other flavor even though you could see tiny little yellow bits in it - I guess they grinded up habanero peppers and just stirred a little in. Definitely not the same as roasting habaneros and blending them into the mayo as a sauce, as there was no color change and almost no discernable taste difference from straight mayo. The fried jalapeno had good flavor and heat which obliterated anything but the creamy mayo flavor from the dressing. I waiter asked me how I would like the burger cooked, which I replied "medium", I don't believe it makes any difference what you say as I still got well done, I believe the main problem isn't training, but instead is that the patties 2 -1/4lb, instead of 1 - 1/2lb are just too thin ~5/16* that too fully cook them 165° you can't have any pink left - just a little thicker than In/Out. The burger has no comparison to the very similar Jalapeno burger at Denny's which is much juicier and way way better dressing. By far the best parts if the meal were fried jalapeno and the onion rings, which were cooked perfectly, the onion was still very juicy, albeit so juicy you need to eat them fairly quickly so the crust doesn't become soggy. The service was very good though as it was ~3pm on a Sunday, and the restaurant was slow as that was between normal popular hours.
Great restaurant. It's one we go to a lot, and the food and service is pleasant. I do wish they would play with the ambiance a little. It's just bland.Food: 5/5
Placed a breakfast order with extra egg and pomegranate juice. Meal came, no extra egg or juice. Took 10 minutes to get a hold of waitress Mia. I asked about my complete order, and 15 minutes later it was delivered . Blasting spanish music in kitchen, watching waitress dance inside kitchen, no other customers and I was being ignored. Told Mia that I was going to write a review, she said go ahead and that I came in restaurant with a bad attitude. Really ??? This place is a joke .
Stopped by this location for dinner. The food was delicious and the service was great. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Will definitely come back.
I love Norms, I’m used to go there many time for a long time but lately, like after pandemic i feel the quality has dropped a bit, the salad that I’m used to ordered is not the same, and some pictures show the plate and when you order comes something a little different like the one on the picture is the pork chop dinner, the pork chop on the picture is a kind of thick, but the one on my plate was thin as a sheet of paper.
