Norris is simply the best! I don't usually write reviews, but they have taken such outstanding care of our family. When my grandmother passed, they were truly artists in making her look beautiful at her service and no detail was missed. They have since helped me to beautify her gravesite. They are always available if you need them. I feel like a customer for life. I'm originally from Henry County and have since left the area. They are truly an asset to my hometown!
Norris Funeral Home provided service for 5 of our immediate family members over the last 20 years. My dad and step-mother passed 1 day apart and the funeral home had to plan and assist us with a double funeral. My step-father and my mother in law were also served by the Norris. ' My mom passed away a month ago and the Norris' son, Christian, Jenna, and Kristen Norris served our family. The Norris family and funeral home services were phenomenal. They were very professional, compassionate, and came along side and assisted us 100%!
Until the day I had the upmost respect for Norris funeral home . On this day Saturday, July 30 I heard the Director raise his voice at the gentleman‘s nephew telling him he need to sit down while the gentleman was getting in line to be with his family . the gentleman‘s mother was the sister of the deceased. I as well others was appalled . he would speak to that Gentlemen that way in front of his family .after I told him who he was he didn’t even apologize to him and his family .I give the gentleman a lot of credit he held his composure and said ok . that was classes act by the Director Totally unnecessary he should’ve have apologized he should have apologized to the gentleman as well as his family .
Norris took exceptional care of our family during our most difficult time during the loss of our daughter. WE are forever grateful and would highly recommend Norris and their team. They were simply fantastic.
Losing both my parents in the same year, was one one of the most devastating things in my life. Choosing Norris Funeral Home to handle the arrangements, sure made having to plan their funeral easier. Jenna and Christian Norris helped my siblings and myself with the planning. My sisters and I had no clue where to begin or what to do, and they just made everything come together so well. They were both so patient with us, even when we were forgetting family members names to put in the obituary, and not knowing what we wanted to do with the the arrangements. My Mom passed away first, she was at home when she died and the Norris Staff was there at the home shortly after her passing to take care of her. They were so kind and compassionate, to all of my family during such a traumatic time in our lives. Then a very short 68 days later my Dad went to join my Mom. The Norris Family and Staff was there again, to take care of everything for us. I just can't say enough about how nice all the Staff was and how well everything went, for both of my parents funerals, especially during this crazy pandemic.
I am extremely pleased with the care my family recently received from Norris Funeral Services during the planning and burial of my father and I want to extend a special thanks to our amazing funeral director Kristen Norris and her husband Harrison for their compassion and expertise. Throughout every step in the process, we were met with the utmost professionalism from all staff and we left with the feeling that they truly cared about our loss and that they wanted to ensure our father had the best homegoing service possible. During such a stressful and emotional time, it was comforting to know daddy was in good hands and being handled with care. Thank you all for allowing us to have some peace throughout this trying time, even if only for a moment.
Norris Funeral Home did an amazing job with my Daddyand his visitations and funeral! They were very kind and caring, they were extremely heart felt and made sure everything was to mine, my sister and the rest of my family's liking. Every funeral home should be more like Norris, the employees and staff are amazing people, my Daddy knew a few of them and very well as did my uncles too, he would be proud of how caring they were to me and my sister. He would be proud of how fantastically put together his visitation and funeral arrangements were, they made us feel like family. Thank you to all the employees and staff at Norris funeral home.
Norris Funeral Services did a wonderful job helping me plan my father’s service. I had never lost a close family member before except when I was young, so planning a funeral was completely new to me. He passed unexpectedly, so I was in shock and clueless. The whole crew there was accommodating and patient from the start. Jenna is so sweet, and she didn’t mind when I would text her at random times throughout the day with questions! I felt like I was being annoying, but she genuinely seemed like she was happy to help. Despite COVID restrictions, the service went well and they were helpful every step of the way. 5 stars!
I can not say enough nice things about Butch, Lee, Jason, David and the rest. No matter what my crazy family needed... they delivered without hesitation. I always had someone available at all times and they made our Mother's last days on earth the best they could be. Everything they did or helped achieve was beyond our expectations. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you all for making our memories of Mom's funeral Joyous instead of Sad..
I thought about changing this to a four star because Lee didn't do a 180 in the muddy field. He did however suffer with Tony thru the 28 or so red lights. For that he gets the 5th star. I hope you never have a need for their services, but if you do trust me when I say this, you're in very good hands. The Lord shines bright at Norris. P.S. if you're luck to have Lee driving ask him about his road trip with the Hollar family
