I normally don’t review but felt the need to I was seen in the Braselton location it was my medication review appointment. I was asked about my current medication and asked that all of them are sent in for refills. All of except for one. I followed up with a phone call leaving a message for the nurse. Mind you my appointment was on 9/11/23 and still to this day after phone message and message to the doctor through the portal I have yet my refill. I was sent a message stating I need to be seen by the doctor for this medication because I have not seen the doctor since 2022 I’m confused so I have to come see the doctor for each medication and have blood drawn for each. I’m now looking for another doctor to over see my health because this is a issue how do you stay healthy if medication that is expected for you to take they don’t send to pharmacy I’m doing my part yet the doctor is not and this is a warning sign for me I have enough going on to be dealing with this. The care at the office was perfect, BUT the policy that is someone comes in late for their appointment needs work. I arrive at 9:15am my appointment was at 9:30am, the nurse took me back at 9:30am. She did my preliminary vital signs then took me to a room where I waited for 1hr 20 minutes, She would let me know when the NP was coming. The problem was a patient was 30 minutes late arriving, so instead of telling that patient we can fit you in when we have an opening, instead they took the patient back. I was told this was done due to the shooting in Atlanta last year when a patient shot up a practice after being told that would have to reschedule. I had thing to do after my appointment that is why I made it so early. If the practice is worried about someone shooting up the practice then hire an armed guard, don’t make your other patients wait due to that persons neglect.
Normally I don’t write reviews but I think I should on this one. I was seen around 2:30 yesterday, I have no issues with the visit. The PA prescribed my medications at the end of the visit and I was told they were being sent to my pharmacy. Nothing was sent yesterday, I called the after hours line and it does not deal with prescriptions so I waited until this morning and called. I was assured the prescriptions would be sent right away; nothing was sent. So today at 5:30 still nothing sent to pharmacy, I call the after hours line and this time talk to someone where I am told I needed to follow procedures and call in the morning they were not allowed to get the on call physician for prescriptions. The only way for me to talk to someone is to have an emergency. Well going to the Dr and not receiving prescriptions may not be a life threatening emergency but doesn’t help your patients. I was able to get the call center to get a physician on the phone by saying I needed to know if I should go to the hospital because I did not have any medication. The PA finally said she was calling in my medication. Just not the kind of service you expect.
The worst experience I have ever had seeing a Doctor. I was given a Doctor who did not even work at that location. This guy Doctor never ask me any medical questions, all he wanted to do was go over my medication. I have been on my medications for years due to a chronic illness and he refused to give me more than 30 day supply. When I called for a refill it took 4 times before they would send it in. I only went there because of my insurance had dropped the locations of Doctors that was in my area. If you want a Doctor who cares do not go here.
My insurance company pushed me to look for a new Dr. I am sooo pleased with this office! Friendly, time conscious, and efficient! My PA is sharp! The visits are in 30 minute increments, not 15... which is wonderful. I feel like we have a great plan to manage and tackle my type 2 diabetes!
If you want to be taken care of, DONT COME HERE! Not only do they NOT answer their phones, neither do the managers at every office. Your sent to voicemail, and when I finally get through to someone I get told I can’t discuss this with you because I’m not on my husbands HIPPA when I was the one who created his account and he has signed a piece of paper in office TWICE! Reason we will NEVER recommend this place is because they cancel your antidepressants, and blood pressure medication and give you NO REASON why they aren’t supplying you anymore. Even when the pharmacy calls you still get no response, his annual isn’t due, he’s complied with everything the doctor has order, blood work, blood pressure log etc. worst practice ever, they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, because if they did they should know that they can’t just cancel someone’s meds without whining them off of them.
Horrible customer service the communication is extremely Horrible. One person told you one thing than another person told you something else. Have an appointment get in the office everyone is saying something different. Waste hours of my time. Everyone in this building need to go to school for communications and customers service. It takes a lot for me to write a negative reviews. Please see what others are sayings. The building
It seems they have a difficulty with employee retention. I’ve been a patient for a year and have seen at least 6 different PA’s and Drs filter through. All of which have been very unhappy with “the system.” Fyi- your paperwork will get lost. However, relatively speaking, you always can get same-day appointments.
Dr. Aminu is an amazing doctor who truly cares about her patients. She’s knowledgeable and she takes her time to treat her patients with kindness and respect. She’s very quick to respond to any messages and tries her best to accommodate the schedule to see her patients. She’s our family doctor and treats a lot of our neighbors as well. I feel like I found the perfect doctor not only for myself but for my children, husband, and mother. She treats us all like family. She’s truly a gem!
I have gotten excellent care both from Stephen PA and Dr. Aminu. I have seen Stephen lately and he always listens and takes all of my concerns seriously. If I send Stephen a message through the portal, he responds very quickly! The staff is also very nice. I’m very happy to have found this group!
