North Beaver Volunteer Fire Department protects an area of 43 square miles including Pennsylvania Toll Road 376 and S.N.P.J. We provide Q.R.S. Vehicle Rescue, Haz-Mat, and Fire Suppression Services to the residents and visitors of North Beaver Township.
The fire department has created this page with certain goals in mind. First, we will use this page to spread urgent emergency information throughout the community. Second, we would like to use this page as a tool to spread the message of fire safety to the community. Third, we plan to use this as another means of advertising our fundraising events. Finally, we hope this page will become a valuable recruitment tool. Volunteers are hard to come by. Hopefully this page will help some community members better understand what we do, and perhaps persuade some people to grab an application.
The mission of the North Beaver Township Volunteer Fire Department is to respond to any emergency that threatens the community. We accomplish this mission through hours of education on the most current emergency response procedures. We have members trained as PA DOH EMT Bs, for medical emergencies. Several members are trained and state certified Basic Vehicle Rescue Technicians. Most of our firefighters are PA state certified at the Firefighter I level. We have spent the last several years updating our fleet of fire apparatus, and the equipment carried on them. All this effort is put forth in order for us to best protect the citizens and visitors of North Beaver Township.
