North Cobb Electrical Services caused approximately $2,000 worth of damage to my vehicle while they were changing light fixtures at our apartment complex, then left the scene, and have refused any involvement. First, the vehicle is a bright yellow sports car that was re-painted 2 days before all this happened. My wife and I saw them parked extremely close to my vehicle in their large work truck, with all the doors open, unloading a ladder, toolboxes, lighting fixtures, etc. We looked at each other and said, "It will be a miracle if they don't hit the car," but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and left. Big mistake. We came back a couple hours later to find 4 dents, 2 of which went through the paint, ALL on the truck-side of the car. There was no note or contact information. Many phone calls, meetings, and emails later, the best offer I have received from them is a request to sign a document saying I will release them of all responsibility in return for a "goodwill payment" of about $200. I have decided to pay for it myself and keep my freedom of speech. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. Atlanta is a very competitive market and you can find much better than this type of avoidance of responsibility and disregard for customers.
