The North County Blue Angels is a brand new Semi Professional Football franchise based at Historic Doyle field in Leominster, MA.
BLUE ANGELS CHARITABLE GOALS
A major objective for the Blue Angels is to give back to the local communities from which it gains its support. We intend to do this in three ways:
SUPPORT LOCAL KIDS:
We’ll start by offering aid to local teams in the form of coaching aids. Our Coaching staff and players will make themselves available to the area organizations to assist the Youth, Pop Warner even High school coaches in teaching proper safety and football techniques.
Extend an offer to all Youth groups to attend Blue Angels games at a greatly reduced cost.
Create a “FUN TIME” Coed Touch football league for youths between the ages of 14-18 who enjoy football, but who otherwise might not participate on an organized team. Our goal will be for “Greater Inclusion of All”.
ASSIST AREA WOMEN’S PROGRAMS:
We have set a personal goal to work with area women’s groups to work toward the eradication of Breast Cancer during October. We hope to assist them by attendance and or participation in fund raising events as well as dedicating one of our home games to focus awareness to this fight. At this game, we will not only encourage a collection to help support this effort but will allocate a portion of the revenue from each ticket sold as a sign of the Blue Angels commitment.
VETERANS GROUPS:
Our ownership group has direct knowledge of the sacrifices made by and the dedication of our Armed Forces and Veterans groups, we intend to dedicate our support to recognizing these people and supporting their activities.
In appreciation of their sacrifices we will supply free admission tickets to the surrounding VFW groups, National Guard facilities and Recruiting offices so that these individuals can attend our games in an atmosphere of recognition and thanks for their service to our country and their sacrifices. We would also allocate a portion of the ticket revenue from one home game to support the charities of these organizations.
The Blue Angels appreciate the support we receive from OUR fans in the surrounding communities, and recognize our responsibility to repay this show of support by being proactive in our involvement with the needs of these fans.
