Sad to see the Sears side of this go downhill. There are some strange stores in some really nice buildings that probably don't belong in nice buildings But I understand the necessity to keep tenants in a mall. I miss the old days of being able to walk through them all and see lots of other people doing so as well with anything just to stay healthy and let the kids blow off some energy.... At least the shops around the mall seem to be doing well
This is a Simon mall so clean and its fairly well taken care of. Lots of good name brand shops. The food court is great and I highly recommend the K-Dogs! I prefer to walk around in air-conditioning during the summer instead of shopping at stripmalls where you have to get in and out of your car or walk in the heat. Same in the winter. So if you want a comfortable clean and safe place to shop with many shops nearby I recommend the North East Mall
Overall, the mall features some mainstays like Dillards, Michael Kors, Macy's, Forever 21, etc and isn't as highly trafficked as Grapevine or the Parks' Mall in Arlington because it's much smaller than either of these malls. Because North East Mall receives less traffic, you may get better deals here than in other malls, but only with the selection of stores that it has. If you live close the upside is that you can get in and out really quick. All this being said, this is one of the dirtier malls in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. If you rarely visit a mall, then you may prefer a larger mall with more stores and that's also cleaner.
First time into the store "RAW" I was looking to see what they had for sale and within minutes of browsing I was surrounded by "teenage store employees" asking if I was going to buy a shirt or merchandise and was asked to buy a shirt for an employee...the older male employee who was standing at the counter was smiling as they made there back to counter and as I walked out... IF I COULD GIVE A REVIEW BELOW ONE STAR I WOULD GIVE IT A NEGATIVE -3 WONT COME BACK TERRIBLE EXPERINCE
The Mall is nice. I like it. I really don't have any negatives to say about it. There's plenty of Security, and the North Richland Hills Police Department patrols the parking lots & Mall area consistently.
If i have to rely on the outside sign for direction, i would be lost. I did get lost. Once inside the mall i went to the second floor but there was no directory or security i could ask for direction. I got tired and looked around but there was no lounge or bench to sit. I finally found a small food court i could rest, not far from the Fast-Fix repair shop i was looking for.
It’s a good mall. There’s also a Barnes and Noble nearby and a Hallmark store. I like the pepperoni pretzel from Auntie Anne’s. It’s a great mall they need to put in a Disney store in though. Take out the cowboys store.
This is a great place I've been coming here for years. Great people friendly service but a little pricey now days
This mall is trashy. Pretty sure I got food poisoning from Phil’s Philly Cheesesteaks in the food court. Lord only knows when these food shops had a food health inspection. It’s SO HOT in this mall, I almost passed out in the food court. Only decent stores is Dillard’s and Jcpenny. Not worth your time and effort walking around the mall, nothing to see.
Been going to North East Mall since I was born. Love it here. Seen some vacant spaces open up recently. Here’s some of my suggestions for new stores: JD Sports, Lovisa, and Tradehome Shoes. These stores are all expanding in the DFW and would compliment North East Mall’s tenant roster well.
