Great finds but these women who work the front are so mean and nasty. Work some place else if you cant be nice! I avoid going there because of the nastiness at checkout.
Tall Indian guy outside was very rude and told us he didn’t take “trash.” Nothing we took in was trash and it’s very offensive to hear someone call others’ belongings trash. We Could have sold our stuff to make money but instead we kindly donated to charity. He does not represent well this organization.
North Fulton charities has been a blessing to me. I'm a disabled senior citizen and it's so easy to order things on the computer at the facility and the staff puts my groceries in my car for me so I don't even have to carry it. The quality & variety of the food selections is superb. I also appreciate the thrift shop where I get a voucher for some free clothes and Wednesdays a senior discount day. Thank you so much for your assistance. I appreciate it.
HORRIBLE!!! They hide damage to items under price tags and tape. Today 5 male workers sat under a covered area laughing while for an hour they watched me have to finish loading and secure an item i purchased for over $200.00 in the pouring rain and was told he was not a professional loader and they would not assume liability. Do NOT waste your time or money and the workers inside are very rude.
Apparently they just called my mom letting her know if a dresser we bought isn’t picked up in 24 hrs it will be put back on the floor with no refund. First and foremost this is a charity. So taking someone’s money and not be willing to refund it is very tasteless as well as classless. Also, considering the items at hand have never left your store meaning it would still be in the same condition it was sold as why would you not be willing to refund the payment but you’re going to put it back on the floor to sell. That is legal robbery. Just cause you can do something does not mean it’s righteous to do. Furthermore I have been sick and have a very busy schedule due to work. The times for pick up are during my most busiest hours. Given I work every day of the week. I called to express this and see what I can do about picking it up but NFCc does not answer their phone and will not call you back EVEN if you leave a voicemail.
I love this place! They are so nice and really care about everyone they serve. They offer commodity's free food ,monthly points- redeamable for clothing items from their thrift store on site. They also have Various hygiene Items, diapers, and miscellaneous medical and cleaning supplies depending on donations received. I am so grateful for all the help they have given me!!! and HIGHLY RECOMMEND! this charitable organization to others
I know many people in this community rely heavily on the donations and work done here. This place makes sure to give the best back to the community. Thanks.
The lady in charge of pricing things in the back is either oblivious to the actual value of things or is smoking something serious. $129 for an old generation Xbox 360? $100 for a Wii? Just looked them up and you can buy these gaming systems on ebay for $79-99 in guaranteed working condition with free shipping to your door AND a return policy. Keep in mind this place gets these items for free. You’d think a place that calls themselves a “charity” shop wouldn’t astronomically overprice used goods to the point where they’re not affordable or even realistic for that matter. I don’t see the charity in any of that. It’s beyond greedy and boggles my mind how they look these items up and price them HIGHER than what you can buy them for from your couch. You’re wasting your time and gas even coming here. Just stay home and buy whatever you’re looking for online.. it’ll be cheaper I promise.
Very nice people friendly quick experience when I'm getting food always
I didn't really know what North Fulton Community Charities was until recently. My wife is from Colombia and needed to learn English better and we found NFCC offered free English classes to Fulton county residents. They have 2 hour classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My wife has been going and absolutely loves it. The facility is very clean and all the people there are very nice. It's cool to see my tax dollars being put to good use. I think there is also a thrift store across the street where you can donate stuff and buy used stuff for cheap.
