The library serves the surrounding community with a focus on fiction for adults and children, although most any book is available through inter-library loan. The library has wifi service and computers for patron use. Programs for adults and children are offered throughout the year.

Babies and Toddlers
Children under three and their caregivers meet every Wednesday morning from 10 to 10:30 at the library. Children learn about the library by listening to a few stories, singing a few songs, making puzzles, and sometimes making simple crafts.

Maine Author Series
The library periodically invites Maine authors to join us for a discussion. Our next Maine author will be John Ford on May 1st at 7pm.
US Air Force veteran John Ford spent 20 years as a Maine Game Warden, followed by two terms as county sheriff. His writings include Suddenly the Cider Didn't Taste So Good and Adventures of a Game Warden in Maine as well as regular contributions to local and regional publications. Come hear him speak on Thursday, May 1st at 7pm.
Book Discussion Group
The Book Discussion Group meets on the fourth Monday of each month from 11 A.M. to noon. Everyone is welcome, but it will be most enjoyable if you have read the book. The library will have several copies to lend. We will be discussing And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini on April 28th.
