Why would anyone continue to live here when the police don’t do anything but busy up weed shops and abuse peaceful protesters. Move out of La county as soon as you can. Oh don’t get me started on the emergency services here either. Pray no one you love ever needs help or an ambulance in Los Angeles
My wife’s car was stolen in the middle of the night from our building. The police officers responded in a timely manner. Very friendly and understanding of the situation. They were thorough and efficient and above all else kind. They recovered the car the same day. SAME DAY! Great cops exist and should be complimented. Thank you so much!
They detained noted Street journalists sjv news first for a first amendment protected activity, shoved him into the back of a vehicle and threatened the other journalists on the scene with the rest for merely filming the police and expressing his first amendment opinions. This department needs a shake-up clearly the leadership does not value constitutionally protected rights and the police officers who pull guns on people who hold cameras in their hands are out of control!
The professionalism or lack there of, along with the lack of “heart” from LT. Case of the Police Department is extremely disheartening. You’re a rude human being. I guess you can figure out my last name now after you asked for it- after telling me to have a good day and walking away, as you were already done dealing with me. I hope your children find another man to look up to.
I also can't speak for the negative, as my experience was incredible. I had my car stolen at 7AM from my parking garage and the NoHo cops called me throughout the day giving me live info and we were able to exchange information that resulted in them not only getting my car back THE SAME DAY, but also chasing the bad guys on foot and taking two terrible people off of the streets. Each officer was incredibly friendly, hard working and quite dedicated to their job, and also had a sense of humor about it which made the pain of having my car stolen an easier experience than it could have been. Thank you!
So far I been getting good service from this station, I do agree with most of the negative comments but what people don’t know is that theirs only 2-3 officers working at the desk. Most of the time their busy helping walk ins like my self. You have to make line to be helped & everyone’s case is long & so you could spend about 30-40 minutes to be your turn. They don’t answer phone calls because their busy. My best advice is to go to the station & wait like everybody else & you’ll be helped.
Officers helped with whatever they could after my mother's vehicle was stolen from our apartment complex. After the previous owners/managers of the building failed to assist in the capture of the thieves, due to the security cameras being fake, the officers of this station responded quickly when the suspects were seen in the area again and finally caught them. After a discussion with the managers about using actual cameras to aid an any future event, the officers helped my family convince the new owners to install proper security cameras to apprehend thieves quicker. We could not be more thankful to the officers of this station.
The officers answering calls are extremely rude, arrogant, apathetic, dismissive... - 2 WEEKS ago, I called in, regarding my 86-yr old mother, who is suffering elder abuse. I was passed around different departments, with no success. I left a couple of messages, of which none were ever returned. They stated, they were extremely busy, addressing a high-speed chase. Ok, perhaps, later, someone would've done their duty & eventually replied. I called today, to try again & was immediately transferred, while I was still talking. I wanted to know, where he was transferring me. I understand the stress that is entailed in this line of work, however, simple courtesy & humanity for the hands that feed them, I believe is in order. After all, THEY failed to "Serve & Protect," my mother," who is a citizen, who keeps them employed.
More disgraceful policing today by this station. Civil rights violations and lack of knowledge of the law. Also, you allowed a complaintant to lie repeatedly without consequence and an innocent civilian had a gun pulled on him. Fyi, you clowns, interference is a physical act NEVER verbal. #bluelinethugs
This particular department is not very good at prevention non-emergency never picks up it is important to pick up non-emergency to prevent. A good department will have one officer on staff just for the phone, prevention is key if you can stop a crime from happening before it happens then you will have less 9-1-1 calls.
