A couple of the fields have large holes in the safety nets behind home plate but overall a friendly nice facility.
This park is great for baseball! It is low key and quietly tucked off of the road. The playground is small but clean. It doesn't have swings and isn't large but I'd imagine it's nice when you are attending a game. THERE IS NO PLACE TO HIKE OR BIKE! When I search hiking or biking this park always comes up but shouldn't! If you are looking for hiking or biking this isn't the place. Overall for its intended purpose nice location.
They get five stars because of the basketball goal. The Google description or website doesn’t mention this. There are not many around McDonough so I am glad I came and checked anyway. My boys enjoyed themselves.
Very secluded, almost private-like park. Baseball fields, a small playground, a concrete path, and even a book sharing station "take a book, leave a book". I like that this park is more or less hidden from the main road, yet very accessible. We have been 3 times now, and each time, our kids were the only ones on the playground. Oh and there are goats in an adjacent field. They make a LOT of noise, and it's hilarious to the kids.
First time visiting Ola Park, very clean, great concession stand. Restrooms: CLEAN restrooms
Decent park. Nice playground with benches for parents. Has a smaller ball field. A large one and a t ball field. And a batting cage. Dogs allowed. Concession stand active during ball season. Decent bathrooms but they are locked during off season. 2 port a potties outside. Good sized parking lot with handicap parking and access.
If you are looking for a park that has swings and other apparatus for your children this is not that kind of park. I did not see anything other than baseball fields I believe it was about three of them. If there is a place where children can play I could not find access to it from the directions I had.
Not a good venue for a baseball tournament. Scoreboard did not work. Big holes in the outfield. At first rental bathrooms that were nasty. Those shutdown, then portajohns with no toilet paper and no place for handwashing. Those shutdown and we were told to drive to Publix. We paid $7 per day per adult to enter a complex which offered NO bathroom facilities.
All-star game was a great experience. Food was good. Only the restrooms were not checked regularly, a little dirty.
Cute little park, a few fields & a playground or two. Great for practicing.
