Large mall, with lots of parking all around, meaning quite a walk if stores you want on opposite ends. This mall is very clean and well maintained. People drive for hours to shop at the America Doll store and cafe. The Von Maur, Macy’s and Dillard’s here are truly classy. There is also a Lego store with the current best sellers usually in stock. Nice food court, and huge carousel for children.
Family friendly mall with lot of shops, mostly toy shops.Macys and JC Penny are conviniently located. Best place to spend time with family. Food court can be improved, very less food outlets.
For what it's worth, this Mall is dying a slow death. Dillard's, Macy's & JC Penney are the anchor stores. There is a Dinosaur Safari adventure occupying part of a vacant anchor. The Food Court has limited, but decent options. The carousel has been abandoned for about 5 years. I would guess that the occupancy rate is right around 60 to 65%. It is great to come during the week because there is very little traffic. The weekends it does pick up a bit. And of course during the holiday season. The AMC, movie theater and the cheesecake factory are nice features of this mall. Having said all of that, this is the mall that is closest to me. It is well kept and clean. It's not very pretentious either. We take our youngest son here to see Santa Claus. Santa here does a great job. Remember to book online!!
It’s officially dead, ghost mall. Everything is run down.. carousel isn’t operating, all equipment looks old and dirty, no visitors. Half of the stores style looks from 70-80’s, half closed, half with weird purpose. Sephora and bath works still look good though.
I really love the north point mall! My dad always takes us to sugarloaf mills or the food garden but north point mall is where i get my amazing clothes from! I really love enjoying and spending my time there it’s really fun and food court there is delicious too!
Very spacious, not crowded, mall train n kids play area were great for kids. Dinosaur safari is a nice place to visit too!
North point mall is nice place to hang out but it mist be hard for the shops to survive due to high rent and low turnover. Some how, shopping malls needs to survive. I guess some of the companies planning to build new place over north point mall.
A hike and a movie? A lot of folks like to walk in the mall. I've found it a little more challenging and a lot more enjoyable walking around the mall. It's a great activity to do before heading over to AMC Theatres to cool off. It takes me about 30minutes to go around once. Most of the route is on a sidewalk with shade from the building or trees. For the parts in direct sunlight I throw a towel over my head. There are 4 elevation changes to be aware of: 1 Walking up a flight of stairs behind JC Penneys. Be careful with a low hanging branch at the top of the stairs. 2 Walking down a flight of stairs by Dino Safari used to be Sears 3 Walking up a stairway by Macy's 4 Walking down a dirt path by Von Maur. This is the only elevation change that doesn't have stairs. You can avoid it by going into Von Maur and taking the escalator to the lower level.
Visited the Cheese cake factory on the day in question. I love the decore, the place was not crowded however the wait for food after the order was very long. Some of the food were ok. Some was not. Too much salt. I was disappointed. Had heard a lot about it.
I love this mall! It has all new apparel that no body has in the city. The Mall has a modern look from the stores to the lobby and food court area. I love this mall very family friendly and lots of shops to shop. So if your in the area come see for yourself!.
