Great place for families. This aquatic center is especially geared towards toddlers with a large are only a few inches deep with slide and splash pad type toys. It also has an amazing play area for older kids and a small lazy river. The bigger kids love the pool with diving boards and big slides. Great outing and not to pricey!
Incredible place to take the family! With different pools to suit each age group, no one will be left disappointed. Lots of seating too, and also a grassy area to bring your own rug. There's a kiosk too with snacks and drinks. Nothing this place doesn't have.
Outdoor movie in the pool for Cherry Days 2023.. what a great idea. My 3 kids had a blast. Well done North Shore!!!
FYI to parents about the big slide: They do allow you to take kids under 4 ft on the big slide if they ride on your lap. However, depending on who's running the top, they'll make your kid take off their flotation device. The first time we went, my kiddo was allowed to keep her puddle jumper on and that was good because the water pressure creates enough force to sometimes cause me to slip at the end I'm not very tall. If she hadn't had her flotation device, her head would have been under the water the whole time while I was trying to regain my footing. The second time we went different day, we got all the way to the top and the girl told us my kid had to take her puddle jumper off. Fortunately, the water pressure was mild enough that I didn't slip and was able to keep her up the whole time. This is kind of scary to me. Small kids aren't likely to be champion swimmers, and there's always a chance a parent could lose their grip on their kid. I understand ultimately the decision is the parent's responsibility, but they could make the policy more clear so parents don't find out right at the top. Overall, good pool for the price. The kids have always enjoyed it.
Very fun. It's a large place to go. There is a lazy river. And a kiddie pool, and another pool with two diving boards. Plenty of space for parties or to hang out for the day. They also have food and drinks. You can bring your own food and drinks if you'd like. Have fun
Yesterday at the pool, the scariest thing imaginable happened—a drowning emergency. The life guards acted quickly and effectively to save a life. There was no confusion in their actions, showing that they are well trained. The outcome could have been so much worse. Good job North shore life guards!
Love this place! Most of the water is in the 3ft range for all the kids stuff, big slide, they have a high dive deep pool, a splash pad that could use better water pressure area, and a toddler/infant area with a little frog slide for them. We have been there 3 times this last week! Decided to try Cherry Hill also in the same week. North Shore definitely has our vote for the best kids aquatic center!
I love this pool. They have a little kids water playground type thing. A medium deep pool, and a deep pool that goes up to yours shoulders or neck depending on how tall you are. There is also a lazy river but it is really small and fast. The only things that are not my favorite are the people and the lazy river. But you can still have so much fun!!
Great place to swim and enjoy the summer heat. There are things for people of all ages to enjoy. Kids pool, kids water slide, small lazy river, splash pad, diving boards, lap pool, water slide, and more. Only wish, there was a place to swim all year long.
First time impressions: 1. Easy going staff 2. Good parking space 3. A LOT of concrete 4. Great toys for little kids 5. Small but comfortable lazy river
