The employees are caring, concerned, and cooperative ... this to say the least. Families are invited with enthusiasm and TLC. The organization really depends on and is engaged in community involvement. Announcements are timely and *always* transparent. The building is a safe haven for all who enter. On a scale of 1 to 5, this "place" is a 6!
We love the JCC. We were members when our daughter went there for their fabulous pre school program and then we transfer to the YMCA when she to elementary school. We are now back at the JCC and can't believe we ever left. It has such an amazing community feel and everyone makes you feel welcome. It's not just a place to work out bit to meet and socialize with friends.
There's a lot of care and effort that goes into making this a very vibrant community center. The centerpiece is a stellar gym with a variety of basketball hoops and courts. It's often busy, but when it isn't it's a great spot to shoot hoops when it's cold outside. Lots of solid cardio equipment and a great free weights room. For an additional fee the Health Club, is a private locker room with towel service, steam, sauna, and a lounge. Some exceptionally talented trainers here including Andrew Simons, who is a nationally ranked jujitsu and olympic weight lifter. The only issue is that the club sometimes is very slow to replace broken or missing equipment, sometimes painfully so. If you've got young kids then you'll get a lot more out of this center with a ton of kid oriented programs. Pool is happening during the Summer and they offer summer only memberships if the pool is more your thing.
This is THE best summer camp there is. They really do it big for the kids, my daughter perfected her swimming here. The director and staff are wonderful.
Swim instructions with the kids are great. Staff is welcoming. Locker rooms are clean and not overcrowded.
I just join. Love it! You never have to wait for equipment
Swimming pools indoor and outdoor, café, exercise facilities and classes, workout equipment and staff, including an on-site nutritionist, this JCC on a cul de sac adjacent two schools in Marblehead is a great community resource.
Great people! I worked for JCC in the past and made great life long friends. The staff and facilities are awesome!
Friendly staff and members. An awesome Zumba instructor James on Monday mornings at 8:15am!
First time using the fitness center and was impressed, good range of equipment, all in good condition.
