The N. Sioux City Fire Dept. is an all-volunteer fire department comprised of 36 members. We take pride in our unique ability to provide fire protection, rescue service, and emergency medical service to the Dakota Valley Emergency Services District.

The mission of the North Sioux City Fire Department and each of its members are to reduce deaths, injuries, and property loss from fire, hazardous conditions, emergency medical situations and other disasters. We will do this by providing excellent, state of the art, pacesetting life and property preservation, and emergency services, while recognizing our members are the key to our success.
