North Vernon Police Department

When the city impounds your vehicle you have to pay a citation. But when you go to pay it they are closed early and only way you are to know is by the note had written and taped to door. There for you can't get your vehicle out of impound and are forced to pay another night's fees at the lot. If your vehicle can be impounded at any time of the day, then we should be able to pay that fee and get our vehicle at any time. If they are closed they need to update everything including the impound lots they use not just close whenever and cost hard working people to have to spend more of there money. They already get the citation money, all about the money they take from the citizens

They keep erasing my one star post, so how many more have they been able to erase. This department has despicable officers who have no respect for the US Bill of rights.

If I could give 0 stars I would! They are corrupt. In Indiana a passenger in a vehicle does NOT have to show an ID, yet these punks assaulted and arrested a passenger because they didn’t show ID. Lawyer said same thing, you can refuse to show ID if you didn’t break the law. They disappoint me.

Sometimes I am absent minded and scatter brained. I accidentally locked myself out of my semi I am a Crete Carrier truck driver at the North Vernon, Indiana Walmart. Officer Seth Beville came to the Walmart and helped me get into my truck. I normally keep a spare wired, hidden on the engine. However, I had procrastinated in doing so with the new spare. The spare is now wired to the engine. Thank you Officer Seth Beville and North Vernon Police Department for helping me out. You certainly went through a lot to gain access and I highly appreciate your help.

I appreciate these hardworking officers. They are always police and efficient. We are proud of you and pray for you daily.
