Very disappointed with how they care for patients. A FEW of the staff is amazing I can probably count them on my hands. I have gone in here a few time. They always say they are doing exams and then hours later nothings wrong yet weeks later I’m very much the same so I went into umc and they asked why I didn’t get checked in earlier. I needed surgery and north vista said nothing was wrong and just bandaged me up. They say they care but I have heard so many bad things  everytime I mention that I went there,from neighbors, family members and even other hospitals and that should be saying a lot about them. Once my husband went in having breathing problems and they made him wait in the lobby for so long but on the sign they have in there it says if you’re having chest pain or problems breathing to let them know and they will get someone to help you but no one came to help, thank god he wasn’t dying from his breathing problems. I get it’s the closest hospital but honestly go to a different one. I rather spen my hours waiting at a place they are actually going to help.

I have lived in Vegas for about 6 months and have been to north vista maybe 4-5 times either for my son or myself. My experience there was what you expect for a emergency room. Sometimes they are busy and sometimes they are not. The doctors are really nice and work quickly. I rather go there than to my PCP. Your in and out and you don't need an appointment.

Do not go to this place I went to the emergency room on 4/24/23 for some abdominal pain that turned out to be pancreatitis and while I was waiting for a room I went inside the bathroom inside where all the patients are at and while I was in there I felt weak and threw up and was sitting on the floor hovering over the toilet so I pull on the string to call for the nurses came in and saw I was on the floor and just closed the doors without asking if I needed assistance so then I scream I need help and a nurse comes in and told me “if I can walk myself to the bathroom then I can pick myself up and walk myself out of the bathroom what am I supposed to do pick you up and carry you out?”then proceeds to close the door and leave me in there I was in disbelief. She was the nurse sitting right in front of the bathroom next to the triage room

The weekend staff seemed to be unable to to communicate effectively with the week day staff. We've had one RN who was wonderful, one who was alright, and another who told us throughout the entire day that they didn't know anything about the treatment that the patient was receiving because they still had not reviewed the MD's notes. The week day primary MD finally came in Monday morning and was surprised to see that the patient was still admitted. He said that the gastro MD might need to be pulled off the case because they hadn't done anything.

This was the worst hospital visit. The doctor ran around in a grinch mask. A lot of people left without even seeing the doctor. I am pretty sure I have an infection and the grinch doctor told me my rash was a good rash. The grinch doctor said my swelling knees werent that bad when i can barely even walk. I told him i had an abnormal rash and he stated thats a good rash not a bad rash. How is any rash ever a good rash? Mind you the rash hurts and is pusing and is spreading all over my body. My body feels like they is 1000s needles poking me all over my body leaving a numb painful feeling thorough my whole body.I didn't even make it to a bed they kept me in the lobby for 5 hours with the ac on. They kept calling peoples names that wasn't even there. In my opinion this er needs a huge make over. Everyone working there should be elevated more closely.  There is a hugh lack of professionalism here. The grinch doctor is literally out just stealing money from you here . I have been having numbness and shooting pain down my left arm and chest pains and they just tried to give me Tylenol and send me on my way. This place is a joke and they is no way you will get the treatment you are looking for here. The security guards were laughing at patients that were expressing they're pain. They bringing people from the ambulance and placing them in the waiting room. The beds were not filled up and could have had patients in them instead of just leaving them in the lobby. A lot of patients left without even being seen. Honestly don't even waste your time and money going here.

I was in the emergency room for 2 to 3 hours due to extreme pain and blood in my urine. When I arrived, the pain was extreme and I couldn't even see well. I just turned in my documents. They told me that my insurance didn't work with them. They did pathological and radiological tests. Now they sent me the bill for 25,000 more besides, they are charging me association radiology and association pathology, the prices are raised three times what is common in the market.

I went in just needing a regular checkup and ended up with a ruptured vein. Did not expect to get an almost traumatic experience from this. Very dirty and unorganized place.

I recently moved from Cali and had a really bad abscess come about when I got to vegas. Not knowing where to go or who would treat me; I came to this emergency room and the doctor along with his nursing staff were amazing. They made me feel comfortable and reassured me right away they would take care of me despite me being new to vegas and me being a first time patient. They treated me and sent me home with antibiotics/pain medicine. I went to sunrise hospital and medical center for the same issue; Who did not treat my abscess and did not send me home with any antibiotics/care. A huge thank you to North Valley ER team today for treating  a 6 month long ongoing issue, god bless you the doctors and staff!

Last night I took my son to be seen in the emergency dept. And as we were waiting a mother came in screaming for help for her son who was in the car foaming at the mouth.  They took their time to help them and then turned them away.  These people are supposed to be emergency rescuers.  Not at this hospital for sure!  My prayers go out to the gentleman and his family that were refused medical help!  God bless..

Not sure about the star I should give yet. I need this answered is yalls phone lines 24/7 like the er is? It's 5:51am. I called 5 times clicked 2 for admission rang and then hung up and got voice-mail. Do hospitals normally have  voice-mail? And are yall just not open at this time on the phone? Trying to get my daughter admitted before I get there to get in quickly.... plz clarify ty.
