All of the nurses were so caring and really took time and made an effort in making sure I was okay during my stay. The only thing was the release from the hospital took a lot longer than was expected. I was told I’d be released around 2 pm and I didn’t get released until 6 pm. If the release process could be faster then it would have made the last day a lot better.
I needed an x-ray of my foot. I had, maybe a 10 min. wait in the lobby when I first checked in. The x-ray was handled very professionally by a young, well trained tech. I couldn’t hold my foot in the position required. The tech was totally chill. I mean, my bad! She didn’t lay no judgements on me. Overall this was a pretty good visit to the hospital.
Everything was very positive. Even the employees gave off a great energy as they were happy to be at work!! They made a nervous and uncomfortable situation very easy and much more comfortable to deal with. I can't say enough about how nice and caring the staff is. The Anesthesiologist was incredible!! He was very informative and caring as well. Adding to making my entire experience comfortable. And my Dr., Dr. Bailey, is the absolute best. He informed me of everything about the surgery. Everything went extremely well. My pain level was kept manageable. And I was sent home with prescriptions waiting for me to pick up in order to keep the pain at a manageable level!! My overall experience was outstanding!!
The care was excellent from the nurses and doctors, Need work on getting bills faster, my insurance has denied my claim because they have not gotten a bill from you. I was in ICU for a heart attack, the amount they have is $60.000.00. I may have to pay. I can't wait to see that happen. I'm 70 don't think I will live that long!!!
I have been receiving continued treatment and procedures at Northeast Regional Hospital in Kirksville since 2022. I have gotten to know most of the staff in the Outpatient Department and Outpatient Procedure/Surgery Department. I have NEVER received such good personal care, had such a pleasant experience EACH AND EVERY time I’ve been admitted, enjoyed EACH AND EVERY receptionist, admissions clerk, nurse, nurse assistant, surgical technician, surgical assistant, doctor assistant and the BRILLIANT Doctor John Bailey, DO who has, and continues to improve my quality of life. In the past, going to the doctor or hospital was something I regretted. I know it may sound crazy, but I kinda look forward to the experiences with this bunch!
I suddenly lost partial vision in my right eye, I was told at the ophthalmologist office to immediately go to ER and so I came here and I found that were an amazing group of doctors and staff! They were so thorough and kind and dedicated to me as a patient! They made me feel very comfortable and at ease!
Just want to say my mom got excellent care when she was in the ER a couple nights ago! We were both impressed! Dr. Berry was wonderful and her nurse Missy was Wonderful as well! Thank you all so much!
Initially I had a good experience in the emergency room. However the hospital billed me incorrect for emergency services as non-emergency, and then threatened collections before the bill was corrected. In addition their 3rd party nursing department sent me 2 duplicate bills and also threatened collections even after I provided evidence of the outstanding balance being paid in full, very unprofessional behavior.
For my surgery I had great care . Anesthesia people listened to what my concerns were and helped when I began to panic. The nurse Barbie who was taking care of me before and after the surgery in outpatient was awesome.
Was checked and called in timely manner. They said had no comparison records but they should have them as I had same ultrasound done a few years ago there. Everyone was nice.
