Had reconstructive work performed to replace a badly decayed molar. At initial consultation, Dr. Yadgood explained the entire process, and why it requires so much time. For the extraction and bone work, I was offered a choice of anesthesia options, each explained in detail, along with cost info. The bone work was painless, and I felt well cared for. Following time for the jaw to heal, I had the anchor installed, this time with Novocaine. Again, painless with a minimum of discomfort. Now awaiting a post-op review, then installation of the final implant. At all times the staff was professional and friendly, with high spirits and some light joking. I felt very comfortable and in good hands by Dr. Y and his staff. I should add, I had an extremely uncomfortable wisdom tooth extraction some 40 yrs ago. Absolutely the worst dental experience, so I have a point of comparison! Highly recommended.

I never write reviews, however I needed a very painful and broken wisdom tooth pulled and was referred to Dr. Yadgood . Every person in this place was pleasant from the front desk to the dentist . Dr Y had a great sense of humor and truly changed my mind about the dentist in general. Pain free experience, truly pain free. I was in and out quickly and I would return here in a heartbeat . Just felt I should share this coming from someone who absolutely despised the dentist . This was a great experience start to finish. I’d recommend this practice to anybody

Very fast and efficient wisdom tooth surgery, everyone in the back is very nice. Very nice nurses and dentist! Surgery was done very great, I feel little to no pain and it’s only the day after! Definitely recommend getting surgery here!

Cannot say enough how Northern Essex Oral Surgery turned a negative in to a positive in a days time. I was basically left butchered and bruised by a dental practice that has no business referencing Dr. In their name. Immediately upon calling Northern Essex Oral Surgery, my confidence level was high given the professionalism and expertise of the woman who answered my call. My visit went exactly how she said it was going to go couples with the bedside manner that I so desperately needed given my experience less than 24 hours prior. To that point, and a very important point one at that, I had called a few Oral Surgeons in the area and the first appointment I could get would be a couple weeks out, Given the razor like edge to what was left of my tooth from the barbarity of the day prior I would have had serious tongue damage along with enduring massive amounts of pain if I had to wait that long Once again it all went back to my original call and how my voice was heard and they were able to fit me in the next day. Let this review be the one that has you choosing this great team in your time of need. I know I’m glad I did….

I've used Dr. Yadgood's services a few times and always liked him and the work he performs. The office staff and dental assistants are all pleasant and knowledgeable. FYI this office removed my wisdom teeth in 1967 so you could say I'm a lifelong client of this practice.

Sorry for the long review I tried to break it up to make it easier to read First I’d like to thank Dr. Jarmoc and the two assistants who helped with this procedure. Had my procedure yesterday 7/18/23 I’ve never had any kind of oral procedure beside simple cleanings. I was really nervous to get my wisdom teeth removed all of them and they were starting to cause me some discomfort and I couldn’t properly floss two of them only two of them were out, two were impacted or semi stuck still in the gum My regular dental office wouldn’t refer me to NEOS so I called directly to make an appointment to be seen. They were nice and simple. They looked at my teeth took an x ray and we made the appointment for the extraction. I’ve never been sedated before or had laughing gas. At first they did the laughing gas to help take off the edge of needing to get the iv. I didn’t like how it made me feel so I asked that we not use it and they were quick and nicely said alright and then we didn’t use it. The doctor stated that the usual way they put an iv in is in the arm but I have a history of trouble getting it into my arm, so he tried it through my hand although he said it’s normally more painful it wasn’t too bad thankfully and went smooth in one try. I previously went to the holy family hospital Er and needed an iv but they had to try around 10 times on my arms and still couldn’t get the iv in and ended up needing to use a specialized machine to find a vein it was very stressful and painful for me. Despite that previous time this appointment went super smoothly. They were nice and reassuring, I was super scared. They then administered the sedative through the iv and I didn’t even notice it had started taking affect I couldn’t believe it. One second my eyes were open the next I closed them and next thing I knew I could lightly hear them moving around and talking but I couldn’t feel them doing the procedure at all it was awesome. I felt a tiny bit over whelmed but I couldn’t actually feel them removing the teeth or anything, and the next minute they’re like it’s ok! You’re all done! I’m so glad I decided to be sedated it was personally a good decision I don’t do too bad with needles but I’ve never had my teeth removed and I was so nervous I lost sleep. Depending on what the doctor recommends in your personal case I personally recommend the sedation if you have severe dental anxiety. It was over in like 30 minutes. And I’m so thankful to the several assistants and the doctor for making this an easy and simple experience for me I will definitely come here again if I ever need another procedure and I recommend this office if you need your wisdom teeth removed like me I turned 20 and a couple years before that I had thought about getting them removed but they weren’t really bothering me previously so I decided not to. So far my recovery is fine just really sore and the medicine they have given me is helping and I recommend lots of ice packs and maybe drink smoothies or milkshakes. It was/ is hard for me to open my mouth much after, it’s probably due to the local anesthesia they administer by using a needle in your gums. I’ve decided to drink breakfast essential for now because it’s still uncomfortable to open my mouth wider than a finger. Around the time right after the procedure 1-3 hours my lower face was numb from my left nostril to below my check bones to under my chin. So it was hard to eat or drink anything even when the time they directed was ok to eat or drink I still couldn’t taste or feel what I was doing so I decided to wait a bit longer. I had some lightly warmed green tea with a piece of toast . I Recommend that. They gave me a paper before and after the procedure with instructions for what to do. Lastly they booked a follow up appointment just to see how everything’s going after the procedure and that’s it! Again thank you so much to Jarmoc DMD and the two assistants who were talking me through even before we really started I was super nervous and it all went smoothly thank you !

Definitely recommend. I am in the middle of the long process of having an implant done. Dr. Yadgood is wonderful, patient and always joking to help with my nervousness. All of his assistants are friendly and professional. Great place.

First visit to Northern Easex Oral Surgery. I was probably in the dental room for at most 15 minutes having a procedure done. Both Dr. Jarmoc and the dental assistant were very professional, caring, and compassionate! Highly recommend!

A few months ago I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed with just local novocain and it was the first time in my life that I never felt a dental procedure! I have always felt fillings no matter how much novocain I was given, so I was pleasantly shocked when the tooth was removed painlessly and in under 10 minutes! Thanks Dr. Yadgood!

Dr. Yadgood and his office/surgical staff made me feel very comfortable when I recently had a tooth extraction! Dr. Yadgood made sure that the procedure was as pain free as possible, and my mouth has healed nicely!
