I am a healer. It took me 15 years as a conventional physician to realize that the traditional medical approach masks illness by treating symptoms, but does not promote healing and wellness. Functional medicine promotes optimal wellness, which is so much more than the absence of a disease.
The approach is to identify and remove the causes of illness, most often inflammation. By providing the appropriate raw ingredients and removing the barriers to health, the body performs beautifully with healing. I believe we are "fearfully and wonderfully made" and I want to help people achieve their personal right to health and vibrancy. Functional medicine helps me do this, often without pharmaceutical medications with unwanted side effects.
