Students begin the course in a classroom setting, learning the theory of hair cutting, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments, as well as , proper hair care, manicures, facials, and salon sanitation. After completion of the classroom education the student will begin their clinical studies. During their clinical studies students provide full salon services to the public. The salon in NIC is a hands on classroom where student gain experience and apply the theory they have learned in the classroom to real salon situations.
