NKMA is the only school in Northern Kentucky that is accredited by the American Montessori Society.
NKMA provides a program of individualized learning that optimizes the intellectual, social, and emotional development of each child. Programs are available for children ages 2 through 6th grade. The Two Year Old Program is for children of at least 2 years of age. The Early Childhood Program is for children ages 3 to 6. The Lower Elementary Program is for children ages 6 to 9. Upper Elementary is for children ages 9 to 12. Classrooms are comprised of mixed-aged groups, which is an important tenet of the Montessori approach.
Children are guided by degreed and certified teachers who embrace the Montessori Philosophy.
NKMA offers half-day and full-day programs.
