"Northern Rhode Island Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary practice that has been caring for small animals for over 25 years. Our hospital's primary goal is to provide you and your pets with access to the highest quality veterinary care from puppy and kittenhood all the way through to their senior years. We offer wellness, problem, and emergency visits six days a week. We have a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, dental radiography, and two surgical suites to accommodate all of your pet's medical, surgical, and dental needs."

I've been taking my dog here since we adopted him back in 2019 and have been very happy with the service! Everyone is always very friendly and knowledgeable. My dog doesn't love going to the vet, as typically expected with doctor visits, but they give him plenty of treats and love to try to make it a good experience for him! Highly recommend them if you're looking for a vet :

Absolute dump of an animal hospital; starting to sound like the ****hole in East Greenwich. Used to be one of the best in the state, now fewer vets, less hours of operation, and less willing to take any kind of appointments or phone calls at all…. Go to the new spot in the Brigido’s plaza. Much better and more willing to accept just a phone call.

They are very great here at Nothern Rhode Island Animal hospital. My animals have been given great care over the years and switching to them as a primary vet for our fur babies was the best choice!

They were very thorough and took the time to explain what was going on with our dog which made us feel much better with the situation

My cat Jacob was sick and had to be seen by the vet. They were so great with him very passionate and kind as always. My pets are part of the family and I trust my pets with no one else.

I cannot say enough about this place. All of the Doctors and Vet techs here are so caring and accommodating when it comes to both my cat and dog. I recently had my cat in for almost a week and they let me visit him everyday. The hours are great and I don't mind driving from Cranston to North Smithfield for the amazing treatment they provide. I highly recommend this hospital and wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.

I can NOT say enough kind words about this office & the AMAZING doctors and staff!! I have been coming here for over 15 years and 4 dogs and 3 cats later, you couldn’t pay me enough money to consider switching! The love all of my 2 legged & 4 legged family get here is PRICELESS!! I will loyal to this practice until the day I die!!

Great Veterinarians and staff. Very knowledgeable, kind and supportive.

Thank you Dr. Jessica!! Splash is much more comfortable and is able to get up on his own and walk normally! The vet techs were so good and patient with him because he doesn’t like blood drawn. I’m very lucky to have been a client for over 20 years.
