Custom Woodworking and Metal Fabrication Furniture Studio by Nicholas Zalisk
Northern Rose Found is a custom woodworking and steel fabrication furniture workshop located in Gorham, ME. The work that is produced from the studio is designed and built by owner/operator Nicholas Zalisk. Started in 2012, Northern Rose Found was the product of the right sequence of opportunities being presented to Nicholas by the accomplished furniture maker in which he gained his knowledge and experience from in both residential and high production commercial settings. Proceeding this encouragement and transition into being a freelance designer and builder in regional New England, Nicholas obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Maine College of Art in 2007.
Since 2012 Northern Rose Found has made its primary concern to deliver in both a timely and quality fashion a product that will ensure the customer's needs and wants have been met. Past projects have consisted of full retail design and builds, large seating and table orders for restaurant owners, custom one-of-a-kind furniture artworks for the homes of clients, and along with other international retailer sub-contracted assignments.
