We host a variety of different flavored events, including, but not limited to:
Sweets & Stories. Sweets & Stories is a chance for the faculty and staff at Northern State University to interact with the student body by way of sharing their favorite literature piece. The event is held in the fall months and usually includes a bake sale to raise money for our club.
Student Extravaganza. The newly formulated event, entitled "Student Extravaganza" is usually held in the spring semester and is a way for the student body to express themselves by way of what drives them creatively, such as literature, drama pieces, songs, poems, essays, etc. The options are unlimited. This event usually also houses a bake sale.
We meet to the discretion of the student body. Our meeting agendas usually lay out as follows:
I. New Business
II. Old Business
III. Idea Swap
IV. Open Forum
V. Event Planning Committee
Literature/Film/ General Popular Culture Discussion/ Free Talk.
If you're lucky, someone will be so kind enough to bring us goodies during our meetings. Be sure to join us. The conversations get VERY interesting and we love new members!
To encourage the connection students and to nurture their love of literature, film, and general culture.
